I think it's time you guys don't really look into anniversaries anymore, if anything Sakurai will be unpredictable.

I know I'm very late to reply, but I agree. I think we should focus on releases, and also potential randoms.

The characters that would actually excite me more than others tomorrow would have to be Falco, Wolf, Ike, Pokemon Trainer, and Meta Knight.

I'm open to getting pretty much anybody tomorrow, but I'll be psyched to see any of the people I listed.

On the topic of random reveal characters, I think the most suitable options are Falco, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, and Ness. Ice Climbers work, too, but Id have expected them during the Winter.

I had no idea Lucina was remotely likely in any way imaginable. I think we'd see Pichu before her. And you already know I disagree with Chrom over Robin and why. So I'll just zip my mouth there.

Who in there right mind would consider Lucina likely, but not Leif!?!?!? That makes NO sense.

You never know, Leif's magic can make for a pretty diverse Marth clone. I mean there's a chance Sakurai might actually acknowledge it this time since he's not just looking for pure clones like he was in Melee.

Saria was on the 3DS, Big Mac however was a Wii U one. I feel Phosphora is the exception so far because she's from a 3DS game and obviously it'd look poor if it wasn't upgraded.

Ok, now there's the first deconfirmation I really dislike.

I wasn't expecting Phosphora to be playable, but she had so much potential for being an AT and she was totally deserving this role !


...But she's finally nothing more than a collectible trophy.


Now I really begin to wonder if Sakurai knows what the heck he's doing. And I'll swear in French like crazy if there is not any veteran reveal until the end of this month.

Personally, I think this lends more evidence to Palutena being playable.

So far, more Kid Icarus characters are getting confirmed for supporting roles (not that they would be playable). Palutena will at least be an Assist Trophy, but I think with the leak, we're looking at a confirmed newcomer. It's just not official.

We'll have to see.

After reading my previous post, I find I seemed a bit mad (but a very little bit).

But I still think collectible trophies aren't worthy for weekly reveals, and should stay as secret as possible for the days the game will be released.


At least Phosphora's design really makes me want to make a new kit from it (but for other forums though, hehe).

Phosphora had no support, as far as being playable went, she didn't even have an official thread. She is a fairly popular character though, the problem is Kid Icarus Uprising had SO MANY fun characters, and she wasn't quite as important as others. She had some assist trophy support (she was even in as an assist in some rumors) but I think Eggplant Wizard has the assist slot locked down, possibly Medusa too. Eggplant Wizard is iconic, and he turns people into eggplants that can not attack but still have full mobility, which would be different from most assists.

I could totally see Phosphora having her own playable chapter in a future Kid Icarus game, though, one of the few characters I could say that about.

Well we did get alot of stuff the last few monthes, 2 vets a newcomer a assist trophy a poke ball and 2 stages I believe so It wouldn't be that surprising if we didn't get one this month though I doubt it considering sakurai is the surprise gurru.

If Roy doesn't get revealed this month, I'll change my avatar to something for a week for lulz... any ideas on what? If Roy does get in, I feel like he'll be revealed near the end of this month (FE6 came out on the 29th) or close to SSB4's release date, especially if he's a secret character. Who knows really...

I don't think Smash 4 will be lacking in Kid Icarus content. If we're getting Palutena, I hope she's revealed asap, just because I'd love to see the leak confirmed true haha.
