On a lighter note
hypothetically if wonderful 102 was announced at e3 how would any of you feel about wonder red's chances? Bayonetta?

I would like to do this with KI but i know that isnt happening and my bias would be far too string

I think it would help Red's chances significantly.

Not that it'd matter too much to me, because the promise of a new W101 game would quite honestly trump Red himself appearing in Smash, if only because it'd ensure he doesn't remain an obscure one-hit wonder(ful one) from then on.

Kamiya tweeted a picture of himself doing the 'direkutori' pose a while ago, he did that in the W101 direct iirc

The only thing I've heard in regards to a W101 sequel is that Kamiya does have desire to make one. Nothing was really teased.

So I haven't been able to keep up with the thread recently, how crazy has everyone become since the Lucas reveal? Very crazy, I hope. The poll has really made things all kinds of wacko, who do you guys think has the most to gain from a good showing? I'm much more optimistic that Isaac actually has a shot now, for example. That all depends on whether the top choices on dedicated forums and such actually make a good showing in the actual poll, of course, but it's that kind of dedicated, passionate internet fan-base for a character that hasn't been been relevant for a few years that's most likely to benefit here.

It was more because Nintendo published Rayman Legends in Japan.


Banjo will likely beat Rayman in the poll, in terms of total votes, becuase Banjo is better known worldwide than Rayman is. Rayman was basically unknown until the leak. If you look at worldwide sales of the 3DS and Wii U verison, Japan makes up 32 percent. This does not consider anyone owning both games.

Honestly, I've never played Viewtiful Joe, and I haven't seen a very entertaining playthrough of it to really care about the game. (The guy never said a dang word!) Okami on the other hand, I have seen a very entertaining playthrough of, and the story had me on the edge of my seat near the end.

Okay youve been saying this one for a while but i want to contest it. Sales arent everything.

Mega man has been highly publicized for many things over the years being capcoms mascot and all. EX his appearance in marvel vs capcom. It isnt just sales that beed to be considered.

Is it incorrect to say rayman is a nobody? Yes but is also possible rayman isnt as iconic.

EX duck hunt is far more well known than his sales would dictate. . . But i guess that isnt a fair comparison

holy **** that guy DID get banned. To be honest I first saw Rayman with Hoodlum Havoc in a library, didn't play it till 2010-ish iirc, first time I saw Banjo was Sonic and sega all stars racing

Oh i understand that. But this isnt the first time you have used mega man as an option and occasionally one or two points (for instance in the post i replied to specifically only mentions sales) are absent, making your statement lose a bit of its reason.

I don't see another Sonic character getting in, but I would LOVE to see Metal Sonic in Smash as a fighter! I like Sonic, and Metal Sonic is one of my two most favorite characters in the series besides Sonic himself. Heck! I don't even care if he was a clone of Sonic, for I would enjoy playing as him, nonetheless!

True dat. I might get Okami now that I have a Wii Remote that will play well with the Nunchuck. (Which was the only reason I got Rhythm Heaven Fever instead. Fever didn't disappoint though.)
