The prize will definitely be cash this time though. I told them if it's not cash don't bother having melee there. Idk if halo will b cash as well denny, I'll see. I'll have plenty info at our next Friday meeting.

Everyone there likes mainstream. Even if they hate Naruto (who can blame them?), they still like Bleach, Code Geass, Death Note, etc.

Now of course, some of those titles are good (Code Gay-***), but its like, LEARN SOME MORE ANIMES.

Then they screen the dumbest titles during their meetings. Like ****ing Elfen Laid. Sure, its a decent anime, but its old. If you're going to watch old anime, go for a good title like Macross, or Gundam.

Too bad they're not sitting there wathcing Darker than Black, R.O.D., or Lucky Star. Then I might go. Hell, I'd go if they screened Casshern Sins or Gurren Lagann.

Anime does become mainstream for a reason.

People who hate on it because of the bandwagon status more than the actual content are pretty big tools.

I usually end up watching mainstream because I'm too lazy to dig for underground stuff.

Elfen Lied is one of the deeper/well-written animes out there; I'll give it that, even if I disliked it. Can't forget EVA either :[

Naruto and Blearch ARE bad though. ****ing "BELIEVE IT" in this ****ting English dub didn't help it either.

Btw Alan since they meet only once per week they limited it to 26 episodes or less for what they show.
