nothing is sacred is it? You loot the body, and your search turns up with a KEY!

unsurprisingly, the guard knew his way around the castle and as such didn’t have a map on him.

a man has died. As the adrenaline leaves your body you are left with this crushing realization that you have changed. The light that was in you feels dimmer. Something has been lost. Something precious and innately human. you look at the stout branch. such a small thing, to have enacted such a large cost. you know there Is no going back.

Use your limited magic knowledge to attempt to resurrect the guard.
Ooookay….knowing nothing about resurrection magic, you are limited to magic of ventriloquism. You desecrate the corpse even more by trying to make it seem like the guard is singing a song.
EXITS are still very much NORTH, EAST, WEST and SOUTH. And southeast. I guess.
the dead will bury their own dead, you think, as you gently place the body of the slain soldier in the dungeon

using the stair lift you make it to the top of the tower. The rocky theme song stuck in your head.
you proceed to open the door using your newly gotten key.
