surf the stairlift back down to the courtyard while blowing a stream of confetti over your shoulder then jump off at the bottom and put on sunglasses just to show this princess what a cool dude she's missing out on

then continue east from courtyard past where the guard was previously

you soar down the stairs , a rainbow of confetti marking your exit

upon exiting you turn back to the tower, throw on your sunnies and give em the oil’ finger guns

there are few inedible things you haven’t tried to eat yet, and you’ll be damned if this candle escapes your attempt. You nibble it like an ear of corn. Though it’s waxy, you can’t quite bite down on it. after a few attempts you see that you haven’t even left teeth marks

we saw a strange flame before, in the basement/dungeon when we torched the door
i imagine its also a lot less windy in the dungeon too

so i'm thinking maybe its a mystic candle of ghost banishing

but also if it's not then i expect the ghost will kill us again, and I'm not a huge fan of dying. maybe we should explore some more first.
