An older Ness would be interesting. As for Tracy's problem, there's only one logical answer. No not a young Ness, but a Older Ness. Any ways who do you think will do Tracey's problem?
It's both. In the debut trailer for the game, there are clips of Captain Rainbow fighting some enemies with his yo-yo. And obviously Nick's playable: almost every trailer released so far has cut of him walking around the island.Darkslash said:Is Nick going to playable? Or is captain rainbow only?
Possibly but she has black hair and not blonde hair. But than again, every character we know about has changed in some way so maybe Nintendo dyed her hair. All right, first of all, you're all wrong--"Tracy" is clearly Crazy Tracy from Link's Awakening. The whole "sexpot" attitude fits, and if that's not enough, there's her sprite:

True, but I think the crossed legs, the giant bow, and the wavy hair basically set it in stone. And yeah, every other character so far appears as a "future self" (i.e. Little Mac got fat over the years, stuff like that), so it wouldn't be too much of a logical leap to assume that Tracy dyed her hair or something.Possibly but she has black hair and not blonde hair. I'll eat a Oran Berry if it isn't Crazy TracyIf it turns out to not be Crazy Tracy, I'll punch myself in the face.
Same with Ness's sister except she went through puberty. If it is Crazy Tracy, than okay.True, but I think the crossed legs, the giant bow, and the wavy hair basically set it in stone. Actually some have pointed out that Tracy is an obscure character from Link's Awakening. Her personality is the same aparently. Is that Ness' sister Tracy?
My frothing demand for this game increases...Nintendo Wii Fanboy said:Captain Rainbow is divided between adventure and action segments. In the adventure mode, you, as Nick/Captain Rainbow, communicate with the residents of Mimin Island, helping with their problems and playing minigames. You earn crystals called kirarin during these interactions -- 20 of which unlock an action scene. In the action mode, Captain Rainbow runs through side-scrolling levels in an effort to grab a falling star, which is used to grant the wish of one of the island's residents (say, a wish not to be so fat), while avoiding enemies called Shadows.
Doesn't matter about the double post. If your second post was a day after your previous on the same thread, you don't get an infraction.Alright, so a recent Famitsu issue tells a bit more about what this thing will actually play like.
My frothing demand for this game increases...
And some soldiers from Famicom Wars are apparently the next residents to be shown off.
EDIT - Also, uh...I didn't notice I was double posting.

I can't decide whether to laugh, cry, or *facepalm*.Nintendo Wii Fanboy said:Birdo was famously characterized as a cross-dresser in the manual for Super Mario Bros. 2, but seems to have been made female in her appearances in the Mario sports games. According to Chris Kohler, who is currently playing through the Japanese version of Captain Rainbow, the character's gender dysphoria is back, and being discussed in-game for the first time.
It turns out that Birdo has been in jail on Mimin Island for using a women's restroom. She asks Captain Rainbow to find proof that she's a female so she can get out of jail, and he does -- buzzing, under her pillow. When he picks it up, it is censored.
Maybe Nintendo will rewrite this bit so it's about sandwiches. Then it could be released outside Japan.
The weirdest thing about Birdo's gender is that the thing seems to be gender-free except for the bow. So, then, does it mentally identify as a man identifying as a woman? And let's ignore the egg-laying issue entirely.
Well I just walked away from the computer and tried to forget about it after reading it.I can't decide whether to laugh, cry, or *facepalm*.
Whoever thinks Nintendo makes only kiddy games needs to play this game.I can't decide whether to laugh, cry, or *facepalm*.
I agree with you on the graphics. It reminds me of N64 graphics except slighty better.I'll probably come off as a graphic wh***, but doesn't this game look rather bad graphically, even for a wii game? Either way I just might pick it up, kind of reminds of Conker's bad fur day, only that birdo tidbit is actually way creepier than anything in that game.
