Of course, if Swampy was indeed privately messaged, it could be a mafiaso. That kinda power is definitely in the grey area. I'd say it is more useful as mafia, but that's generally true of all powers and we've seen a ton of powers that are weaker as town end up as town.

Also as for Opossum's supposed restriction in terms of PMing, it is not something that can be proven, and sounds like to me something a third party would have if true anyways. If it doesn't have anything to do with his win condition, then it is literally just a random handicap, and I'd be curious to hear if anyone else is for no particular reason restricted in some fashion. For the record, I am not.
