Ok, so I've been off and on trying to get the moonwalk to work, and it just won't ;_;

What I'm doing right now is I'll be stationary, then run in a direction, then I'll try to as quickly as possible do the little semi-circle towards the opposite direction I'm running in, without hitting the center position of the control stick. Still, no luck.

Am I doing something wrong here? I've checked numerous videos and for some reason something's not clicking with me....Any advice? Maybe how fast I may need to do it or something?(I think I'm doing it fast enough...)

What JonaDiaper said. It just comes with practice. Just practice by yourself, between stocks etc. It'll come in time.

It may be a good idea to go to practice mode and try it out at lower speed until you can acknowledge the motion, animation, et.c. and then gradually increase the speed. I'm having huge problems with moon walking/jumping as well but at least I can do it at 1/2 speed now, which I couldnt before, so I guess there's hope for all of us.

i dont think practicing in lower speeds helps at all.

i never did that but it just seems like a waste

of more time. the more you practice in normal

speed, the faster it will come. practicing in lower

speeds would just side track you

Try beginning your dash in the direction you want to moonwalk to get some momentum in that direction, then dash dancing backwards, then doing the moonwalk motion back in the original position. See if that helps at all, unless you're already doing that. In that case, then unfortunately all you can do is just keep practicing until you get it.
