Keep playing people better than you. eventually youll beat them a few times and find ways around them, thus making you able to beat them again, meaning your skill grew, and you can use this outside with other people too. Just hope the guy better than you doesnt quit on you after the 2nd match.

Honestly, I would just pick meta Knight if you don't ant to go through all of the trouble. Even if there was another player, it doesn't matter. Meta Knight is gonna stay Top Tier along with Snake.

I have sorta that problem. Perhaps there is no solution, I pwn offline EVERYONE i play, yet get slammed around in online play. Must be lag bringin me down i guess.
