Hey, I played someone the other day, and kept planting C4s on me like it was nothing. I knew you could do that, but how?

I prefer using the sticky in doubles because I can use my partner to sticky the other team--then when they are still in hitlag/hitstun from something I can launch them before they can even dodge it.

It's not easy to sticky someone in singles though if they are any good. If they are good they are putting too much pressure on you to even concentrate on that. But if you land a sticky on someone remember that it only lasts about 14 seconds on the body then it falls off HARMLESSLY. So, if you want to keep it going swap it off a few times [by overlapping their character]--it resets the counter I believe. If you land a sticky on someone you should wait until the perfect moment because it will come, and it's an autoko if you time it up well with something. Plus it puts tremendous pressure on them to attack you. So the psychological edge is tremendous as well.

I personally don't like sticking. It's fun in friendly matches, but I hate the fact at how sometimes it just falls off. When I get a PS, sticky and uptilt >activate C4... I realize that the C4 is on the ground...FML...kinda. Because when I got blown up I was shot up and Uair'd for a KO.

Generally the only situation where I sticky is during 2v1s in teams. It takes too much to setup in 1v1s, and is pretty situational/useless for the most part.

Read stickies maybe. This answer would have been easy to find without starting a new thread. Or you could have used this handy, dandy thread: :D

I understand the point of this thread is so this subforum wouldn't have a million topics. But telling people with questions to go to a thread with over 80 pages is RIDICULOUS. Especially if that question has already been asked before and people will just get impatient with you and tell you to search. Nobody has time to scroll through all those pages. Plus that thread is rarely every kept up.

So my point is, the mods need to stop being lazy and just let us post. Then they can just delete or merge topics that overlap.Or atleast update the 1st post of the Q&A thread so answers can be easily found.

How about, you post in our Question and Answer thread?

You don't know any of us, we'll search the answer for you or just tell you - even if its been asked 1003043940239049230492039403859234785 times in that thread I'll still answer you (not sure about other people, but I will)

You need to stop being lazy, and just do what we ask. Why should we have to delete or merge topics when we have a Q&A thread for the reason?

Also, SEARCH. You'd have to search the Q&A thread if we updated the OP anyways. (See my "Everything yuo ever need to know" topic and find the OTHER Q&A thread. its huge and you'd have to search that)

It would end up taking 10x as long.

(I'm saying this as a Snake Boards Regular. Not a Moderator, I moderate the Link boards anyways)

We don't ask that you read the whole thing, just that you at least ask there, and, if going 40 posts per page, its only 32 pages

The guy who ran the Q&A disappeared and switches mains every few weeks so he doesn't care about that thread anymore, and quit trying to make more work for other people, we have other things to do too
