Runicwings-Even though you ran the whole thing in super slow motion it was a really good turnout and I had a great time. Your Fox is incredible and you run those shine spikes all day like it is your job along with your u tilts. Your womans a keeper too dude, shes cool. She said to me, "I dont know how Louis thinks he can run a tournament...he cant even run his life..." haha

Nana-Easily one the most stylish Marths i've played. Your defense is very good.

Skoot-I was surpised that you did not go Snake against my Meta Knight and switch it up. We had a good set and you should come over my house more often with Wes and Bobby and hangout more.

Cat Fight-^See above and ims ad that I did not get to try out my "secret weapon" against your Snake. Hes a work in progress for me. You should be doing better than you are doing Wes, you have a lot of potential to be a very solid player. Keep it up dude and get your a-s-s over my house again. Call me *****.

Vulcan-No Olimar? I was surprised on that one and when you chose Snake, it was almost a relief for me. There was absolutely no need for me to go Snake in that last fight...so I stuck with my boy and prevailed. Good set and I like forward to our next encounter.

OmegaBlackMage-Your Game and Watch is incredible, seriously. Your spacing and your bairs are toooooo good. Thank You for your kind words and support and hopefully I will get to play you in the near future. Brawl FC? If not, until next time sir.

Marthismyhero-Your ROB is impressive but I'm used to fighting R.O.B's so I think thats why you think you should drop him as your character, dont. ROB is awesome and keep your GAW as well. Work on your bairs. You should have been watching the matches I had w OBM...or did you? Anyway, keep in touch.

Cort-Yeah, your Diddy is really good too. I was getting a bit nervous while you were watching my matches (the icey player and Vulcan) but I prevailed nonetheless and I'd like to get a try at that Snake of yours in the near future. I'll try to work on two stocks down? I got you down to one life before....(it wanst one of those where you jumped off after you won .... )

PC-Youre Kirby was intimidating....why? I have no idea. I need to play your Snake with my Meta as well or a Meta ditto.....those are tooooooo good. Good seeing you sir.

Vigilante-Sorry about the MK selection man....hes my boy. Your DK is **** and im sure if you stayed him...you would have won. Bairs are too good.

Jam-Your Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, and Peach are tooo good. Do I need to say anything else? I love you.

Awsmsean-You reminded me of Mike, you just sat away from everyone else and played MELEE!!! That game is so bad. I hate it. It takes NO SKILL to play Melee! Brawl tournies for life!!! Yes, im kidding. Melee rules.

SPAWN-Best TL player, ever. You could have won the BRAWL TOURNAMENT!!!! You need to come over soon, call me.

That ice climbers player I beat-Your chain throws scared me so much. You have the best set of iceys I've ever played. Really, i was freaking out and was afraid i was going to break my controller with all of that button smashing.

Zong-Learn mortar slide, f tilt and your Snake will win. powershileding is good too.

Solid Jake-Nice, we tied for fifth place. Good to know we are happy and such now. Thanks for the support with my Meta Knight my friend. Your Snake is quite good and I need to face him soon. We should hangout sometime. I have a bit of a Snake myself...I dont use him often though. Kind of a last resort/clutch option.

Sol-I wanted to play your Snake, you're good in Melee and I remember playing you.

Phish-it-We need to do that Pushup Money match my friend. By the way...why didnt i play/talk/see you...what the ****?

Cort - I think I'm beginning to understand how you play Snake. Kindaaaa sortaaaaa. *glares* Still, good matches again. Every tournament so far that we've both been in you beat me in the third round. o_O;

PC - Although we didn't play against each other in the actual tourney itself we had some pretty fun friendlies. Klaw r00lz. 8"} "LINK TO THE PAST **** YEAH!".

Omegablackmage - I've actually never witnessed a good G&W, let alone played one, so it definitely came as a surprise to me. The nair to upB combo was awesome. Good teams matches!

Solid Jake- Our friendly got interrupted and we never got to play after that! :"{ Maybe next time. GG teams!

Poffy - Secret weapon, huh? Haha... yr right... I don't know what happen. I hate to john but it was totally a dumb idea to use DDD LOL. Oh well, I won't make the same mistake again.

Moon-Deezy - Holyyyyyy crap close matches. Good ****. Idk what it is but when I was playing yr Fox the pressure was killin' me.

Meta Knight ***** the crap out of Sonic. All of his moves eat tornado. Any of his B moves get destroyed by it so all you really have to work off of against him is his throws and A attacks...and thats about it.

Sonic is easily one of the worst characters in Brawl. I tried to give him a chance but hes basically Pit, a f-a-g.

Metaknight is the ONLY character I'm thinking of picking up a second for. As, stated, his moves tend to destroy Sonic. I haven't played the match up with anyone yet(Almost ended up playing you but I decided to be an idiot against Zong and got knocked out a round early.

Until I play the match up myself and see just how bad it really is I'm sticking with Sonic. So far I've held my own against most Snakes, but got out played in the long run(being so new to the scene can cause that) and I haven't had trouble with any Wario's in a tourney yet. Tom/Vigiliante gave me some trouble in a tourney, but Tom is a **** good player and he'd give me trouble playing anyone.

Ace- If you're fast with Sonic and mix it up well....you can be good. If youre predictable and fast....there is no point.

Sonic is basically a vertical attacking Meta Knight that cannot gimp or apply much pressure. Oh yeah...he also has more lag between attacks and does not have a good short hop.

I have to disagree with you about gimping. Sonic has amazing gimp skills, especially with his insane recovery. Sonic's gimp game can be incredible, I'm just not the greatest gimper around so I tend to not show it very well(not sure if you actually saw me play at all during the tourney).

I completely agree you have to be unpredictable, and getting even remotely predictable will get you mauled.

Either, way I'm not planning to switch my main any time soon. If I hit a the ceiling with Sonic I'll have to, but for now I'm happy with the hedgehog. He is definatly lower on the tier list than who alot of people are playing, and finding a second for extremely difficult match ups(i.e. Metaknight and possibly Marth) is gunna important if I plan to ever start placing particularly well.

I'll never try to argue that Sonic should be high tier. Personally I think he's very mid-tier but I know in alot of people's opinions I'm playing Low Tier. But I'm having fun with him, and doing better than I probably should be. So I'm happy for now. Hopefully I'll be able to show you how good of a gimper he can be eventually.

I agree with Ace even though this isn't a character discussion *AHEM* thread sonic has massive recovery meaning he can go out there to get who he needs to get, one jump with a homing attack or several other things make him have advantage outside of the stage. Of course against metaknight it still wouldn't be easy.
