Ummmm.... no. Your friend's Link is anything but sick. Any Link who only tries for a grab once in a match and doesn't use UTilt or UAir at all is not even par.

Fox - more shffl'ing, less rolling. Wavedashing > rolling, especially for Fox. Waveshining, especially against Link, is a must unless you want to copy Masashi's style of all mindgames.

Link - PLEASE!!! Grab, UTilt, and UAir!!! UThrow leads to many juggles when combined with UTilt and UAir. In fact, more aerials in general. Also, use Spin Attack less frequently; it's too easily punished and many times you just seemed like you were throwing it out randomly. Also, on Fox, at high %'s you can just do DThrow -> Spin Attack.

It was pretty painful to watch. I suggest you guys learn how to L-cancel properly. Actually, I would suggest to use ariel attacks, because it looked like gravity was sucking you guys down or something, since you both never jumped. There are more approaches in the game than the dash attack. Use the shieldgrab. And PLEASE stop jumping and running into each other's attacks.

rolling is faster then wavedashing?

thats very untrue.

rolling turns you around and stuff. and there is lag before and after the roll which you are vulnerable. plus you cant attack from rolling until the lag is over. with wavedashing you can do anything immediately.

whatever this is so bad that I feel like im wasting my time.

Link needs to L-cancel those dairs, and he shouldn't be spamming UpB. That move has so much lag, it's not even funny. Use it only if you're very sure it'll hit. Honestly, this Link was only sick in that he must be physically ill.

Both of you: wavedash. It is a hell of a lot faster than rolling, and it gives you a great deal more control in when you attack. Furthermore there is no lag.

You can't get hit when you roll, hence the invincibility frames...but after your roll is done...you are gonna get one bad punished beat down from hell.

During the frames where the character releases their shield to roll, you can be hit.
You can also be hit at the end of your roll before you have time to put your shield back up.

Last time I checked, Butters had a solid Fox. If this isn't a joke, then perhaps this is another Butters?

God dammit Dark lolol. Butters tooo goood. Rolling is > Wavedash any day. That was so sick, and I had no idea there was such a sick Link player in AZ aside from Zarelid and myself. I loved the back throw to forward B combo with Fox.

LoL Butters for #1 Power Rankings!!! Teach me to play! I still Wavedash with its 10 frames of lag, I need to learn to roll, but it takes too much technical skill. But Mewtwo has a good roll because it is really long and I can't get hit when I roll, so I think I'll play Mewtwo now. With a high level roll like Mewtwo's I think he can go up the tier list.
