A Butler Melee Tournament

Location:
284 Rockdale Road
Butler, PA 16002

You should be able to find it on
Google Maps or Mapquest.
If you're coming from Route 8, once you find your way to Rockdale
you'll go underneath a small one way tunnel, then it's the first house
on the left. There will be grocery bags tied to my mailbox

Dates:
Friday July, 24th to
Sunday the 26th

All melee tournaments will start on FRIDAY, The first will be at 3.
(sorry for the inconvenience and confusion, we're new at this)

Event Fee: ($5 entry fee)
Melee: Singles- $10
Teams- $20 per team
Low Tiers- $5
Crews- $20 per crew (if turnout is decent)

(Dependent on turnout or request)
Brawl: Singles- $10
Smash 64: Singles-$10

Payout:
1st- 60%
2nd- 30%
3rd- 10%
4th- a complimentary photo with my Oompa Loompa
5th-I'll perform a requested song on piano

I'm serious about 4th and 5th

Rules:
General

• Bring your own controller
• Four stocks
• 7 minute time limit
• All non-finals matches are best out of 3
• Winner's Finals, Losers's Finals, and Grand Finals are best out of 5
• The stage is selected randomly for the first match, unless both players agree to a particular stage
• Each player may ban one stage during their set
• For those who don't know already, once the fisrt match of a set is finished the loser of the match chooses a legal, non-banned stage, followed by the winner of the previous match selecting a character, then the loser selects a character.
• You may pay two blue mana to counterspell a player's ban
• In the event of a tie, do not play sudden death, instead the player with the most stocks wins, if that is a tie, then the player with the least percent of damage wins, if tied, then a one stock match on the stage of the previous match will follow
• And finally . . . No items, Fox Only, Final Destination, but seriously items are off

Housing:
The venue will have some couches and I should be able to provide some space in my basement for those who want to stay, just bring you own accommodations.

I'll be providing 3 medium-sized TVs (the ones in my garage) and two set-ups, my cube and Wii. I will be labeling everything I own for good measure.
