Welcome to my Broiler Mini-Guide!

[A1] Introduction to The Broiler

The Broiler is an advanced technique found by Myself and Sago during some friendlies before a tournament. It started out with me constantly Fairing(Broiling) Sago's Samus, and then we both started laughing because he started Fairing back and they kept clanking with each other. I then said "Look out ****face, I'm gonna burn your eyes with my Broiler." Since then, Samus' Fair has been referred to as The Broiler.

-------------------------------------------------------------

[A2] How to use The Broiler

This is going to sound extremely difficult, maybe impossible, but trust me once you get the timing down it's pretty easy. You have to press jump, and then simultaneously press Forward and Attack/Smash. It's hard to get down at first, but you'll get the hang of it.

-------------------------------------------------------------

[A3] Information on The Broiler

Damage - 18% Total 4%, 3%, 3%, 3%, and then 5%
Knockback - Not to much, None(set knockback), None(set knockback), None(set knockback), Kills at about 260%.
Reach - Not to far, but a lot further than it looks
Priority - A lot, seeing as how it is a disjointed hitbox
Starting lag - A Little bit
Ending lag - Almost none
If somebody could get me some frame data, I'd be happy to put them in the credits.

-------------------------------------------------------------

[A4] Offensive uses for The Broiler

The Broiler has a lot of uses, and I might not be able to list them all. For instance, you could SH HMC -> SH Zair -> SH Broiler -> Land right after the 4th hit -> Fsmash/Dtilt/Ftilt/Jab/Usmash. Because of its low landing lag, you can use at as a high damaging Jab, as long as you land right after the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th hits. It also has pretty good priority seeing as how all hits of it are disjointed hitboxes. It is also an extremely good move to use when trying to get back onto the stage while you're hanging onto the ledge. I usually ledge hop onto the stage with The Broiler against certain characters, it can also be interchanged with her U-air, which is extremely good against big characters like DK, Dedede, Bowser, and Charizard. If they don't DI it correctly, you can then SH a Broiler which can lead into any of her ****ty killing moves. The Broiler can also punish Airdodges because it has 5 different hits.

I'll finish the rest either tomorrow or the day after, and I will add on, Defensive Uses, Situational Uses, and the Credits. I'm open to suggestions and will gladly add them into the guide<3.

STICKY THIS PLEASE

The Broiler is not good against punishing air dodges, and a lot of characters air attacks outprioritizes Samus' fair unless you start it first.

this guy is obviously living a lie. You probably have had your head burried deep in a crater for the last 11 months. I don't even like brawl and I am a HUGE fan of this move.

BIL - I APPROVE!

Ness' and Marth's f-air beats Samus, unless you use f-air before the two.

Also, Bil, while your information on the total damage of f-air says 18%, the way you have it is different than mine.

4% + 3% x2 + 4% x2 = 18%

Or

4% + 2% + 2% + 2% + 4% + 4% = 18%

versus

4% + 3% + 3% + 3% + 5% = 18%

I guess that doesn't matter. I just tested out f-air, and the way the damage percent occurred, varied, but they all ended up with 18%. Strange.

It's true. Our Sparkling Fists > The Broiler. It's still a good move, though. Of course you may want to retreat it so you don't get shield grabbed. Also, use more nair.

The only other move that can compete with the broiler is Charizards broiler

Nuff said
THE BROILER!!!

puts metaknight to shame

I'm thinking you're going to need to add a section on match ups for the broiler.
