I don't think you understand; MATTS! is quite possibly the best kirby main in North America. He's a troll, but I would believe that he found a strategy enabling him to beat the TAS record without TAS before I'd believe that he could figure out how to TAS and then figure out how to TAS better than house does.

Okay changed the OP to include both world records and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd times posted on this thread by the original player. If a world record holder posts their time, they will remain in the world record section, not the other section. Don't say I never did anything for the people!

shaved off about 1.3 seconds overall between yoshi, luigi, and samus. Dual tv's in the common room ftw.

Just dropped samus from 9"99 to 9"37. Overall time has dropped like 8 seconds in the past week, this **** is BANANAS. Looking forward to your times tank, also go ahead and post your btp times if you want, I don't do those much so I didn't bother posting, but i'll post if you do

Olikus, PAL would be separate times. If you get 3 PAL people (including you) to post their times on here I'll make a separate table for you guys, deal?

Btw if anyone ever improves a time, make a post about it to notify me but also edit your original times post, easier to find later.

by up you mean upair or upb? and you hit both at the same attack?

The only way I picture it is with Samus's 2nd jump (with Dair or Bair), since that platform is high enough that she doesn't reach it while attacking during a single jump.
but that'd provably be a LOT easier TASing.

I haven't really do Samus's in a decent time though.

My bad olikus, I typo'd. I meant up-b and hit both on the same attack yes. if you jump before up-b, you won't reach the platform, so you must up-b from the ground. See the video below:

@3man, you can reach it in a single jump and get both targets before you land. I think that is how the TAS world record is done, though in my experience it is always slower than just up-bing. You can also sh dair -> 2nd jump dair/bair.

Also mario: 9.30 -> 9.25. Still worse than my best time on another cartridge.

this is the easiest link strat to get under 13seconds

only two boomerang are 'hard', first is very easy actually
the second, try to jump when i jump, and dont do smash throw, just take some lucky

Yea. I use dair>nair, but dair>bair is about the same, and you can actually do one dair to hit both the first two but the positioning makes it actually seem slower to me lol. ooooor just upB.

Think dair -> uair is better because of less hitlag. Probably why the TAS WR uses a lot of uairs in general.

Yes:

• 1st Jump + Fireball to the right.
• 2nd Jump + Fireball to the right.
• Grounded fireball to the left for the target in the main botton floor.

And the rest is up to you...

Yes, once I did it 8"16, but I don't even mention that since that was long ago and I haven't been able to do it in that time egain.
