[edit] Further progress later in the thread. Image was very large, removed it.

Progress. Still gotta revamp the texture a little, and I'mma keep messing with his ear vertecies to make them even less pointy.

Need Help

I tried using the shadow assist trophy over sonic and it worked fine in brawlbox but in game...



anybody know how to fix it?

this is my stage, is a better version of green hill, for those who want to paly in green hills and play in a good stage :3

but isn't relased yet there are a few things that i need to fix

PD: are you noticed about, kirby hasn't got arms, and legs, and sonic is running without the infinite symbol efect? XD

i just put in black all the tectures in the FitSonic.pac
and my sonic is without taht simbol, and without efect in de charging of his down/side B

Something I've been thinking about lately (and when I say that I mean that I might not end up doing it because I might get bored of it or I'd have to do my university work instead) is to make a texture hack to turn Peach into my original character, Tina LeCaniche. (and maybe a model hack when the builder comes out, but then I'd need to learn how to make a model). Anyway, I have a few questions regarding this:
  1. There was a hack that removed Peach's earrings and brooch right? Where could I find that?
  2. While I don't want to delve into the realms of complex vertex hacks, I can't help but be a little nitpicky. Most importantly would it be possible to put Roll's boots onto Peach similarly to how Captain Falco was made? This is a bit of a lesser priority but would it also be possible to remove the poofy things off her shoulders and turn her arms and gloves into sleeves? The hair and dog features would be too hard (and would require more bones) so I'll save that for the model builder.
  3. None of the stickies that I looked at in the Smash Workshop and its child boards seemed to give any texture hacking tutorial despite some of the links between stickies implying the existence of such tutorials. Could someone point me to a good one or would I be able to work it out myself by downloading BrawlBox?
  4. Would the Servbot from TvC (see the two Megaman Legends stages) be able to go over Toad?
  5. While I want to keep the moveset exactly the same, if I decide to make some minor animation hacks would it be possible to remove the voice clips, articles and effects in her taunts and use some of her other voices instead?
Sorry there are so many questions. Hope I'm asking in the right place.

2. Captain Falco was just normal Falco with Captain Falcon's textures. You can use animations to simulate the effect, though; take her knee bones and increase the scale to about 1.2 or 1.3, then move the translation up so they line up with where they should normally be. Her poofy shoulders have nothing under them, so you have to change the scale to make them smaller.

3. With Brawl Box, you can export the textures as PNGs and edit them like a normal picture, and then replace them. You can then preview the model to see your changes pretty much instantly.

4. If you have the model, then most likely.

5. Of course, you need Project Smash Attacks (PSA) to edit the moveset, which includes hitboxes, graphics, sounds, voices and articles.

Technically... this isn't the right place, since it's for showing what you already have done. Speaking of which, if this is your first project, make sure you're just doing something simple. Start too complicated, and you will screw it up, believe me.

2. It's not really important anyway. I can always give her striped knee socks like an earlier version of Tina's current look for now, right?
4. I don't. I could probably rip it from my TvC disc, unless someone else has one that's hexed and resized and wants to send it to me. I'll just worry about the texture for now though.

Considering that cx_asuka made the textures for the normal Captain Falco himself, this is incorrect.

Plus the Captain Falco over Captain Falcon is, more specifically, Falco's model replacing Captain Falcon's with the custom Captain Falco texture over it, along with appropriate recolors. It's a model swap, not a texture swap+animation swap.

Not trying to be nitpicky, just being more specific and accurate. :3

Also, Sonic running without the infinite symbol effect is nothing impressive or new. I've done that several times already. O_o

Although your way is a bit backwards for it. XD All I did was remove it in PSA. Much easier. :3

And am I the only one who noticed that this thread is no longer a Sticky? o_o

It's actually surprising how similar Falco's boots are to Captain Falcon's. O_o

Oh, and that Green Hill looks pretty cool by the way Guzzi. :3

Edit: And I just now realized that digi already mentioned being able to remove them in PSA XD;
