Brawl Will Be Playable to the Public On October 18th

Nintendo just announced via press release that Brawl will be playable to the public for the first time on October 18th at the E for All expo in CA. For those of us who live in the area, you will be able to go there and play it, but for others, atleast we should finally get video of full matches, and reports on what kind of advanced techniques are in the game. Possibly the intro to the game, the main menus, some or all game modes, the options, the starter cast(or at least what they feel they want to show), the starting stages, the layout of the game, the physics, the sexiness, and Sakurai's pics of him experimenting unscene things with males in college.

EDIT: If anyone here gets their hands on the control, please for the love of god try wavedashing, L-canceling, dash dancing, and all whatever you can to finally give us all some well deserved information.

Also bring you're own Gamecube Control just in case.

1. yes tons of new stuff will be revealed. people like us will be playing the game lol
2. i promise im not lying lol, i just got the nintendo press release in my inbox. i dont know if the public has access, but if so you can also read it at press.nintendo.com
3. unfortunately im from jersey, so someone better get high quality footage of EVERYTHING, and write impressions about EVERYTHING in the game
4. its almost guaranteed not to be the full game. it should be a demo. while theres still a chance that we may not get a new character, we'll atleast learn about things like... is wavedashing in it, air dodgeing? anything gameplay related really.

What we should do is find out who can and is going from SWF and then make a list of things for them to check/find out for us. I personally want to know:

1. Is wavedashing/l-cancelling still in?
2. Does Zelda's down B turn her into Sheik?
3. Can ZSS be played as a stand-alone character?
4. Can you turn off smash balls?
5. Any additional characters that we haven't seen yet.

As much as I wish he was right, that doesn't necessarily mean he is. We all knew Nintendo was going to be a major exhibitor at E for All and we also knew a playable demo was coming soon, since almost every game shows off a demo right before the release date.

The updates during E for All should be pretty interesting. I imagine a lot of double and triple updates.

Oh, and I really wish that guy you're talking about is right.
