ROADTRIP!!!

I'll start out in Virginia and make a beeline for California. If anyone wants to join I'll be the school bus with a big "CALIFORNIA BRAWL OR BUST" banner on the side. I won;\'t be stopping so you'll just have to jump n at a stopsign or light.

Ready, GO!

This sucks, since SMYN won't be able to cover it. They are the only SSBB podcast in existence.

I am super duper excited! And about cameras, I always thought they were disallowed, but people sneaked them in anyway.

To tirkaro: Don't feel too bad about New Jersey. I hear that New Jersey is the state with the second highest concentration of smash players. Now, when you live in a godforsaken h*llhole like New York...

How come it's not gonna be at the Nintendo Store In Manhattan? And No, the Moment we've all been waiting for would be for a demo downloadable on the WiiWare section of the Shopping Channel.
QFT x1000 a downloadable demo would be great, and it would probably boost sales. all the people who dont know what smash is could play the demo and get addicted.

whats this rumor thing bout sonic on wednesday? hasnt ppl learned not to trust rumors?
We'll see if the rumor's actually true tommorrow. For now, I'm glad that on October 18th, there's a playable demo of Brawl. The downside for me is I can't play it because I'm too far away from California.

LA, what a bummer.

Still, this is just one more milestone that the Smash fanbase will have overcome while waiting for the game to be released. The first (public) playable demo. At least it actually feels like we're close to a release now.

Now now, Jonesboro is a God Forsaken hellhole. Where's Jonesboro you ask? Thats what I thought, you don't know...

But cool, next week should be very interesting... I hope I'm not too occupied with NiGHTS to ignore all the Smash info

I thought E3 and E for All were the same thing? Rather, I thought E for All is what E3 de-evolved into.

Regardless, cool. I won't get my hopes up for a roster of 60 characters being revealed like most of SWF will, though. I bet most of what we'll get will be things like, "DK still has his forward special headbutt" and the like. Maybe a few new stages. We probably won't even see a gigantic burst of never-before-seen unlockables.

Some of you people are selfish.

Take into consideration that this is great news even if you won't be able to play it. This may be the first time we will see things in the game that have never been seen before or things which wouldn't be seen in an update.

This also marks the first time that we will really get to see the engine. So far we have had 10 second clips running around so it will be great to find out how the game performs compared to melee and 64.

They most likely will reveal all of the standard characters, plus the first couple of scenes of the subspace emmissary in action. Hey, if you're gonna play, try playing as a character who hasn't gotten the final smash update on the website. Like Snake, or the Ice Climbers.

Freakin' sweet! I can't wait to see any videos or pics of the game play. I am eager to see if they changed anything that could greatly alter the game play we are used to.

Yeah, really. Stop complaining that you can't play it. Half the people who go to this show won't even get a chance to play it themselves. You're all spoiled. Thank God right now that you have internet, because back in the days of SNES we had to rely on magazines to get gaming news out of conventions.

I don't care to play it, I'm just glad it's being offered in playable form.

Hopefully, when this becomes a notice on the site, it won't be the only update of the day.

Has he done anything really epic? He usually hides in the Shadows, or does basic sword combos.

In addition, Nintendo will host a daily Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament. Competitors get a free Wii-themed T-shirt, and a different T-shirt will be available each day of the show.

Whoever is going down there, PLEASE get as much info as you can from the demo. Screen shots, video, even just information. If they say you can't bring in cameras and whatnot, use your cellphones.
