...I'm not sure if you're serious or not. Regardless:

There is no tier list for Brawl+ as of yet. We don't yet have a 'finished' version, let alone a highly tested tier list.

we probably aren't including extra characters in official sets for some time, so those don't count. however, thr set itself is still in development and we only had like 2 major tourneys so far. (which are by now played with outdated sets)

We haven't really discussed when we'll be putting together a tier list, but I'd be surprised if it was any time before next year...

Rather than hosting low-tier character tourneys in the mean time, why not hold tourneys with everyone and tell give us the results? We love getting data.

Honestly I dont see characters changing much from now. We might as well start a early speculation ya know? Plus if characters do radically change then the coders messed up somewhere.

Oh, sure blame it on the coders. Brawl+ is close to a final build, I think, but not quite there yet. A tier list is a long way off, as more data needs to be compiled. Have tourneys, then we'll get a tier list. Until then, you'll have to satisfy yourself with this list:

S Tier: Bill Cosby, Optimus Prime

A Tier: Ninja Turtles, Tingle

B Tier: Me, Dilbert

THis is a work in progress, so I'd be happy to hear suggestions.

Iight cool. If a character winds up broken in the next official build imma blame you because if the coders code something wrong then its not their fault. And no im not saying the coders would do that. I know yall got more sense than that.

I think brawl+ needs a character rankings list for each version of brawl+ from tournament results
Not meaning to be rude, but that would be insufficiantly informed and a waste of time. In TOTAL, there are VERY few creditable tournaments to use. With different builds, it would be ridiculous.

Just look through every B+ character board and see who has the most amount of bad match-ups. Take the bottom half and then use them for low tiers.

i personally think that a tier list should be created if only, to be worked against by the WBR. It would give a good idea of what should be buffed/nerfed. Of course we really lack solid data for tiers at the moment.

turn around....
Tier lists would show up when B+ gets more recognition.
It's an ongoing project, I doubt it will be finalized any time soon.
And when I say that, I mean the Plussery could go on for the next few years.

I did a top ten list that ended June 6, that got the opinion of most people that were on around then. Every time a character was mentioned on a list I gave them a point. It's the closest thing to any sort of tier list that's been developed I would say, so it might help out a bit.

Note that some characters received buffs, especially Ness.

tires don exits

:V

But seriously, the best thing that could be done is make character rankings for each codeset used.

Which is a stupid idea anyway. :V

wouldn't the B+ list need to include the "newcomers"? if so, not yet. plus, that's like saying BB would get a tier list.

Too soon for a tier list. You cant make a tier list when the game isn't even done. However it's generally assumed that fox squritle marth kirby mk and falco are among the best in the game.

Your forgetting Luigi, why does everyone always forget Luigi??

Even when he's good I guess he's just destined to be the king of second bananas.

I think it's really hard to pick out lower characters right now. It's not too hard to pick out a top ten, but after that it gets really difficult. Even Bowser and Ness are no longer "bad".

But why would you want to have a B+ Low Tier tourney if there isn't even a tier list? The point of Low Tiers is usually to give low tier mains a chance to actually compete and to have a more even playing field instead of just picking characters that are good on their own. But since pretty much every character is viable right now, I don't really see why you would want to do this...

I have to say I'm constantly kind of offended by people referring to the people who choose the balance changes to use in Brawl+ as 'coders'. The term should be used to talk about the very small group of people who actually write the original codes - such as Paprika Killer and Phantom Wings.

That said, this thread is redundant, and Matt already copy/pasted his post about his thread. So I'ma go ahead and close this.
