Brawl Release Date For Australia - June 26th

One day before Europe. June 26th is a Thursday.

Yay, I've had it preordered at EB games for a year now lol. Finally online that wont be so laggy, no more messing around with a Freeloader and I can turn Wii Connect 24 back on without worry.

Hooray for those of us without the motivation to import a copy of brawl. Finally we will have the chance to be disappointed with it just like almost everyone else. That being said, pretty keen for some brawl action.

No other PAL game uses NTSC saves, so I'd say No.

I'll be getting it so I finally have an english version. (Plus local netcode is a plus.)

I'm pretty sure that if they did that, pal brawl would become more popular in America than the American version >.>

Confirmation on whether or not NTSC data will work on the PAL version will be useful. Also how big a difference online ping is (would there be Nintendo Australia servers or what?).

I plan on re-buying it PAL anyway, so I'll post this info myself if no one does before me.

Looks like if you're getting the PAL version, you're gonna have to unlock everything again.

Which I personally don't mind, I knew it was coming, I bought my Freeloader for short term use.

It's just gonna be a shame...all that time and effort into the game!

Hmm I hate to be the bringer of bad news but I thought custom taunts don't work on 'With Anyone'?

Yeah. 100% confirmation that NTSC data doesnt work with the PAL version.

Also they might have changed a few things. I noticed that Bowser's forward B, when used to suicide KO someone when you're both on your last stock, the game becomes sudden death instead of Bowser winning, but it could have been a one-off thing.

with Bowser's forward B it depends on DI.

I can guarantee in terms of gameplay they didn't change anything..just language and translation ****...like making Pokemon names NOW IN CAPITALS!

Bowsers forward B depends on controller position. If you do it off the stage wiht someone in a lower position than you (IE, you're player 2 and do it on player 1) they die first, if you do it on someone higher (Player 1 doing it on Player 2) you both die at the same time.
