Man, never knew the hate for Brawl was so strong. I'm in Ken's stream and literally just saw "I can't believe people voted for Brawl here when its not possible anyone sophisticated could enjoy it"

Tbh I feel like its people who are mad all of their "strategies" don't work and they have to play a different style that they can't manage. M2K managed to adapt and be the best at both, should be indicator enough tbh.

They don't like it because they always compare it to the great melee. Yes Melee is an awesome game, but brawl isn't bad, it just gets overshadowed by its older brother.
Melee is the Mario and Brawl is the Luigi. I'm poetic today for some reason.

SSB4 will be the great equalizer. Hopefully Sak learned from his mistakes in Brawl (there are some obviously haha) and balanced between the two. I dig both Melee and Brawl.

I'm starting to think that we need to change, not the games. Everyone wants their fast paced comboey Melee, but I doubt there will ever be another Smash game like that. Brawl has flaws, of course, but I don't see why it's so hated. I have a few things in mind I want changed from Brawl, but I don't want to start that discussion here. xD

hahaha I 100% agree. I haven't seen a community so fixed on having the exact same game with a newer roster like this ever. Most WANT the game to change, and even when its a less desirable change the communities usually move forward with it and run with it anyways
