Who doesn't enjoy a good (bad) pun from time to time?

I feel so eggcepted!

The key to a good pun is to make it really bad... Like... to the point where people finish laughing and say "Oh jeez" hahaha.

Ogod. Okay, y'all know I don't have the best sleight of mind at work; it's Walmart, who does? I was chatting with this lady while ringing up her stuff, and she had a small plant with roots sticking out of the bottom, which I accidentally brushed over my wrist while bagging it. I look at it and say, "..I've been soiled."

And then I promptly wanted to punch myself in the face.

I honestly try to be a good employee, I try to be conversational and make people laugh. And if I can get a laugh out of people, I feel like I've done my job right.

Now now, she's not all bad. She originally taught me the ways of staying up to ridiculous hours of the night, whereas I passed my otherworldly knowledge on to Kaz. She deserves that credit.
I'm just insane.

The sad thing is.. I make jokes like that all the time. Equally bad, if not worse, and each time I smack myself in the face and immediately take it back. THE BAD JOKES IT'S A SHAMEFUL EXISTENCE.
I feel like the Walmart I work at is actually very decent and a good example of the Walmart name. We're well-maintained, clean, organized, and most of our people are actually pretty nice. I can't tell you how many times I start giggling from hearing the infectious laughter started up by some of my associates that I hear on a regular basis.
I get annoyed quite easily and a lot of the time, but it's really not a bad place to work where I am.
