You guys are late. Big Blue has been slowed down by 50% in 4.0

Normal B+ sonic can SD to the right via running on the track. Total CP material.

EDIT: **** you Falco400, you ****ing Ninja'd me. D:

i still think it would be a pretty cool stage.

blue falcon flying medium speed over the track. if you get knocked off its just slow enough that you can tech it and make it back up if you're on the right side. maybe have random platforms come flying in....

Is anyone noticing that Big Blue's gravity seems a bit...off?

Not just when you're descending, either.
Bah. It's probably the same problem that corneria had. You would begin to sorta drift if you jumped while the stage was frozen, which just completely threw off any kind of spacing. The force the game applies to you on that stage hasn't been compensated for properly now due to the slower speed. I'm afraid big blue is beyond salvaging =(

Many four letter words were said here, because at half speed, Big Blue is at least fun.

Not exactly sure about tourney viable, but it's genuinely fun to play on. Which is more than I can say for any other B& stages. >_>

I've some ideas ^^

Skyworld:
Remove the yellow stones of upper three platforms. The clouds, however, should remain, so it's like those soft platforms where can you stand on, but where you also can go through when you press down. It will be more Battlefield like.

Rainbow Cruise:
It players will be able to stay on the ship the whole time, it seems like a good stage to me.

Onett:
I've never really seen the problem with this stage expect for the cars. I would stay; Dont remove them, but make them A LOT weaker.

Yoshi's Island (Melee):
Make the 3 yellow stones on the ground "unbreakable".

Pirate ship:
Remove the hazards.

Hanenbow:
Dont really know about this one. You could make the stage smaller, so you will only be able to play on the right tree.

Green Greens:
Remove the blocks.

Just wondering, is there any way to fix the ledgehop on the Ranbow Cruise Ship's left side without getting caught under it?

It hasn't killed me or anything yet, but being completely unable to ledgehop there has always annoyed me. Can't think of any way to fix it though. ._.

Eh. Minor gripe at best.

Eh? I've never had a problem ledgehopping on the left side of the boat, and Rainbow Cruise is my go-to counterpick almost every match.

Huh. Every time I ledgehop, I just stay where I am because the ship's moving pushes me under the edge.

I don't jump at all and it annoys me. xD

Extend the blastzones on warioware? It's ridiculous how close they are to the stage, sure it's frozen but I still don't see it as being a valid level with blastzones like that

i am in favor a couple changes to a few stages:

Pirate Ship:
frozen just that the ship. not catapult/bombs/hurricanes/rocks/other boats. just the ship. this would take a fairly good stage with some major annoyances and leave a great stage with nothing to distract from the fight. possibly a neutral or a better/more fair CP stage.

Skyworld:
the top/side platforms just clouds (fall through platforms) and the main stage a solid, unbreakable floor. the outline for a great stage actually being able to act like a great stage. crazy, no?

Rainbow Cruise:
freeze the stage at the ship part. 'nuff said.

The Summit:
*cough* uh, yeah... just go with me on this one:
1. the ledges actually grab-able
2. the platform on the left stays up the whole time
3. ice cycle does not spawn/fall
4. breakable platform on then right gone/unbreakable (you decide)
5. freeze at the start of the stage (no transitions, just the mountain top)

Pictochat:
option to freeze/leave it regular by holding R (i'd prefer to just freeze the stage, but some people like the gimmicks just fine).

Castle Seige:
start/freeze at the 3rd form. alternatively, the stage only goes through its transformation sequence once then stays at the third part (maybe longer durations on each form with this option).

Distant Planet:
permanent rain/bublin that won't eat you, no flower/onion things. someone else had these ideas (i never thought of these ideas for the stage before) and i liked them so i'll just repost them.

Lyat Cruise:
DOES NOT TILT. end.

I've always liked Pictochat as a stage, except for those darn rockets that pop out of nowhere. If one were to remove that huge hazard, then I can see pictochat being perfectly viable for tournament play.

its probably doable. i honestly don't care about the hazards except that without them picto becomes a neutral with a crazy high ceiling (aka IC heaven).

Well, with Warioware, PS2 and Luigi's Mansion (sort of) becoming fine candidates for neutrals, more focus should be put into making other stages counterpick-like. IMO, Picto's hazards already would make a fine CP stage if it weren't for those darn rockets.

And yeah, that high ceiling is a blessing for lots of characters, which makes it optimal for CP status. :-)

i like neutrals because it means i can have more stages on my random stage select. but like i said, i'm fine either way when it comes to picto.
