Ok I think I know what happened now. Remember Sakurai's update about rolling barrels? Well Link pushed a barrel that was one of those explodie ones into the group and the flying pink thing is Kirby. Looks like Zelda got most of it.

Nope, I'm pretty positive I saw a bomb in the middle of the bridge. And I didn't see a barrel anywhere.

The game looks a tad slower than Melee but with waaaaaaaaay better graphics and more chaos (aka the smoke from the bridge exploding...). No more 2d hit graphics!

It has a 'humanoid' structure so it probably isnt a item or prop.

To be fair, the fact that it's not on smashbros.com doesn't mean it's not a playable character. After all, DK isn't on smashbros.com yet either.
