Brawl goes to Hell and Back

Today another assist trophy graces us with it’s presence, and what an Assist! None other than The Devil himself, from the Japan only Series, Devil World. Sakurai putting this guy in Brawl is rather interesting, since it’s not the first time something from the Devil World series was in Smash.

This guy’s fairly straight forward, and fairly troublesome. He jumps up in the air…

Points and lo and behold, the screen moves. Of course we all know, you going off the screen = death, so have fun trying to stay ion screen.

As mentioned before, this isn’t the first time Devil world has been involved with Smash. What do I mena? Well in Smash Bros Melee, the mysterious 251st trophy was Tamagon, the hero of the Devil World game. Recognise him? No? Not suprising, as he was only in the Japanese version of Melee. The only reason that can be thought of as to him being pulled from the English version of Smash Bros Melee, is that his game was called Devil World (Though shown as Demon World when put in English language setting)

Something like this will definitely HURT on Rumble Falls. If you don’t have somebody like Pit or Meta Knight, you’re screwed.

Looks like Link’s got the right idea though.

Well, you don’t automatically die when you go offscreen in Smash, right? I think if you can just stay in the magnifying glass and hold out, you can survive… provided no one takes advantage…

if its anything like the amount of pokeballs, i say were going to have a lot of extra characters helping us out. i’d say somewhere around 60…

did he do this in his game? also, what happens when you get him in adventure mode? or what if you get him well fighting master hand (and CrAzY hand) what would the hands do? and what happens when he dissapears? so many questions, ummm… uhhh… a certain amount of days till the get answered ( ? &gt;_

origanaly a stranded space pilot on vacation, cpt. olmar was helped repair his ship by a mystyrious bunch of aliens named pikmin, who would help him on later adventures, as well.

in brawl, he is a strong fighter with much agilety. with the pikmin by his side, he is nearly unstopable!

moveset;
Bikmin throw
throw a pikmin forward a bit then have it ether run back or latch onto an enemy, pummel them a bit till there shaken off then they die (with that little “sigh†sound i love that)

B down: pikmin pick
pick a pikmin out of the ground and will pick for longer if you hold (max 20) these will follow you around and become “invisible†till you use them (that is to say, theres no colision detection so no ice climbers fiasco )

B^: pikmin trampoline
all your pikmin throw you into the air sorta like mr. G &amp; W (strangely, they can do this in midair) the more pikmin, the higher you go.

Bikmin charge
5 (10, or all, i cant deside) go all sparky headed and charge in one direction untill they hit someone (does extra damage) or fall of the edge.

FS: onion storm
tweets his whisle real loud (you can see the sound waves) then 1000 pikmin fall onto the spot your standing and charge in whatever directon the furthest edge is and will not change direction or jump (they will climb walls though) any character caught will be constantly hit and probably draged over the edge. your current pikmin will be filled after.

your current pikmin will follow your every move, even to the death (sorta like the minis in mario vs DK 1) the coulor is determined by the fringe of his coat and his pikmin (green &amp; black pikmin sweet)

mic, i dont think tamagon will be in smash. he sorta lacks, you know, ARMS. i forget the requirements of a smash character, but im sure tamagon lacks atleast one of them. anyways, who do you think should be an AT? im voating on eggplant wiz, grim reaper (both from kid icarus) and someone who can flood the screen and all the players can swim around (i dont know who, i just think that would be cool)
