Here's my hour's worth of photoshopping a Brawl cover, yo.

Bonus points for whoever can name every character silhouetted.

Well whoever is having problems with those character backgrounds. Heres how; its very simple step by step :

1-Select the magic wand tool (looks like a stick with a star on the end) use this for selecting areas to then delete. In this case the backgrounds.

2-See on the top that thing that says "Tolerance"? The lower the number in it, the more precise the magic wand will be. For example, if you type in 1 then the magic wand will select only very small parts of the color and will look at even the most miniscule changes in the color. While if you type 100, It won't distinguish Light blue from medium blue from dark blue but I always suggest a low number. In our case, type 18.

3-Click on any part of the background. See the line around a part of the background ? Thats what you selected. Now press on other parts of the background HOLDING the button with the windows logo (if you are using windows) or the button with the apple (If you are using Mac).
ONLY PRESS ON THE BACKGROUND. NOT ON THE CHARACTER. Also remember that, if the character has its legs crossing forming a gap in between the legs, get that area too.

4-Once you are done selecting, at the top bar click select, then inverse. Now the character should be selected instead of the background.

5-If you want to delete the background, at the top bar, press Edit then Cut. But if you simply wanna move it then change to the move tool and move the selection!

I will make a back cover, I've already thought about it. I didn't get all the characters onto the front cover so it'll be nice to do back. I felt bad for excluding Zelda, Peach, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Mewtwo...etc...etc...

Alright, I've got a lot of homework right now. (As always, who wants to trade lives with me?)

But tomorrow...or late late tonight I'll bust out the CS3 and see what I can do.

1.It's actually just the first sig thing I made, and I'm a fan. He's not in Brawl at all.
2.That's just the filler 'till the real one comes out. Why would a character as a starter from a previous game be unlockable?

It is the real box art. They're already selling it on Amazon (they use a blank space until the real one is available).

that IS the official box art. it was on an official nitendo website, and was the cover of nintendo power. it is official, at least for now.

. It fits perfectly in the orange there - that's why nobody's gotten it yet.

I've heard people say that the boxart was on the Nintendo site, but couldn't find it. Linx plz? I'm more than willing to believe that's the cover, I like illustrated box covers, but I feel like what I've seen as of yet doesn't substantiate the certainty with which people regard it's authenticity.

...and no the character between Samus' legs isn't Mespirit...I don't even know what Mespirit is. It looks like a Pokemon...wikipedia...yeah it is....but no, forming it's outline with the negative space wasn't my intention...but it's both amazing how much it DOES look like that shape...and the fact that you saw that shape and recognized it as a Pokemon.
