Are there going to be translations? I'd like to know about Olimar's smashes.

So is this from the official guide? If so than I wonder why new info wasn't scanned for unconfirmed vets and/or new characters?

I don't understand, why not? Who has found this and why can't we get anything new?
Maybe nothing else new has been leaked? I find it possible that this is the case, it has already been a good week so far in terms of leaks (the key being a character confirmation, three actually). But you do bring up a good point.

If this is what people think it is, surely they would list unlockable characters and levels.

Wow, phenominal finds. it strikes me as odd that Squirtle is so high up on the weight list and Olimar splitting the difference between Zelda and Sheik is also interesting. Great find all together though.

Good find on the Olimar smash attacks.

I guess there was some new info in there after all. Thanks a bunch for postin these.

Character masses? This is a huge find! Impressions:
Mario is no longer the "standard" weight.
Pit is not technically a lightweight.
Ivysaur is the light Pokemon, Squirtle is middleweight.
Female heaviness: Peach > Zelda > Sheik > Zero Suit Samus
Kirby is heavier than Meta Knight.
Wario and Ike get respectable weight bonuses.
Diddy not too light.
Fox is the lightest (so far)- doesn't the nerf bat taste sweet?

Truly, if that is a manual then it is the strangest one I've ever seen.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions about Fox. He's still a good character and can still kill at a good pace. (Speaking from experience)

Lucas' smashes are really powerfull. More so than Charizard, and his up and down smashes are more powerful Dedede's., and on par with Ike's. He seems like a buffed up version of Ness. Im sure he will be slower.

And poor Fox. His smash attacks are pathetic in power. Hopefully Falco will be coming back with that added power and weight boost.

Peach should also be lighter. As if she doesnt already have enough going for her.

Damit, I'm trying to figure out what I can from these, but I'm the only BC member on right now. I'll try to update whatever I can.

No, thank you so much Chi. You are doing an awesome job. But 65 pages certainly has to have a ton of info we don't know!

Not all of those are smashes, btw. Like, two of Charizard's are B moves and at least one of Fox's is an aerial.
Youre right. But I noticed another thing. In the column alongside the attacks it says "the best three attacks for knocking your opponent out"

Fox got nerfed hard. And Diddy Kongs a little runt. Im curious as to what kind of damage Mario dishes out.

If it's a guide then they can't just have confirmed characters right...?

That would be an incomplete guide...

who is the source of these anyway... where did Yoshi get the scans from?

No guide is gonna leak characters. It all stuff from the developers. They show us only what they want. And this is a lot
Say what? Guides usually do tell all of the characters. So whoever somehow got a hold of it should be able to see unlockables and characters we have not seen.

If the people making the guide were to have it complete then they would have a head start.

The boxes on the left give us character info.
they are in this order

number of jumps: X times
wall jump: O/X or yes/no
..
..
crawl: O/X
weight: light/ normal/ heavy
speed: slow/ normal/ fast

According to this info Olimar's speed and weight are both normal, while Ike's weight is heavy and his speed is slow

Im still trying to figure out the middle two

Well, since wall jump is only certain characters...crawling, gliding, tether recovery? <_< Just a random guess.
