Ironically, I never use my steam account. (I got it so I could buy divekick, haven't used it for anything else)
Have a friend that has that game. Super funny and super good. But that's basically my only gripe with the game(and they removed DACUS, nerfed BZERcide, and didn't bring back Wolf).

Also, I hope you enjoy my signature @ MrEh MrEh

You know one thing I really hate about this game? The sound effect for perfect shielding. Sounds like a fat guy bumping into a refrigerator. When Project B or whatever becomes a thing they need to just make it sound like it does Street Fighter. And while they're at it, have the Quake announcer pipe in if someone SDs with "Humiliation." Have it go "HEADSHOT" when Sheik lands a Splash.

What else.... You know, as much as I am indifferent to SF, I adore hearing that "KAY-OH!" at the end of matches. Really puts Smash's sleepy announcer to shame.

So what exactly is "Project B" going to be? Is it like turning Sm4sh into Brawl? Because that would blow, IMHO. I never really cared for Brawl, and I like it even less after I started playing Sm4sh 3DS.

Off the top of my head, the high level players want the removal of Rage, complete removal of horizontal vectoring, and a nerf to Diddy. That's where it will start.

As much as I love Bowser's biggest advantage, I can't really disagree with that. Characters like G&W and Jiggly don't gain any advantage from it at all, but instead of removing Rage they could achieve the same ends by giving characters like G&W and Jiggly better kill options. Like straight up tack on more damage and knockback to some moves and lessen the knockback on others for easier juggling. Heavies and more importantly Bowser stay viable and light characters suck less. Everyone wins. :D

Hello, @ GuyLightning GuyLightning . There are many topics here containing various tips. Not really many general tips to give out about Bowser. Mostly just USmash often. UpB OoS oftener. Jab1 is sick nasty and should be used oftenest.

I just hope they don't slow down the pace of Sm4sh. If Project B is to happen, I'd want it to remain as true to the feel of Sm4sh as possible. I love how Sm4sh feels. It's one of the best games I've played in terms of game pace. I would like some gameplay changes though.

I doubt they'll even call it that, that's just what I've dubbed it, lol. Smash4 overall doesn't need to be like Brawl.

So that tournament didn't go so bad.

Why's Diddy broken again?

I'm probably the only person in the world that hates Combos. The snack, not the other thing.

Also, this is probably easy for me to say because I'm not going to it, but I'd probably skip Apex due to the 2 stock rules. Way too easy to 2-0 someone in this game due to rage being a thing. 3 stocks makes for more exciting games, I think. Instead of, "Oh dang. He got the first kill, has rage, can do combos, and can't be combo'd. I wonder who'll win?"

Oh, we use 3-stocks over here in Argentina.

It just seemed like a matter of course, honestly. I, personally, don't see any good reason to leave this game to 2-stocks.

hey guys, in my quest to find my top 4, i think i finally found the last guy and it happens to be the brutish turtle himself!
Other characters I love to play are :4wiifit:,:4gaw: and :4rob:. Very different characters in abilities and weight imo.

I used to play a lot of :4dk: in melee and brawl but :4bowser: just feels so much better as a heavy fighter for me in the new games.
let's have a good time! :-)

So I knew that Bowser's USmash gives him crazy hit resistance for his shell, but I didn't know how absurd it was until I countered it with Little Mac. The counter kinda lagged on his shell but didn't hurt Bowser at all.

I was also thinking his DAir has similar armor, but I'm not completely sure on that.

That's how autoguard works.

The only two moves in the game with autoguard are Bowser and Gdub's Usmash. Palutena's dash attack and bair might have autoguard, but I forget if her's is the same thing.

I feel like Bowser's Dair has some resistance to damage though. Is this different, like a sort of higher priority aerial, and not autoguard?

It's not autoguard. Autoguard is a very very specific property that nullifies a single hit.

Dair doesn't nullify anything. From the frame data that was mined from the game, Dair does have a bit of intangibility, but that's pretty normal. Bowser's fists and legs are like that for most of his attacks.

Dair can clank and cancel out some weaker attacks in lieu of what Bowser's limbs can do but it's very situational. It's not Shellguard. Which would really be amazing if Bowser had a unpunishable Dair on the spiked portion of the shell.

If it helps Dair can ignore PK Thunder and just destroy it and keep going. If it hits the Spiky portion of the shell anyway.

Well, that interview sure explains things. They balanced the game based on ONLINE data and apparently if I want to play a fighting game that doesn't suck I should look elsewhere. Good to know, Shocker-cry. I'll be sure to keep that in mind next time you try to sell this garbage again.

Sakurai's douchebaggery aside I love doing runoff Bowser Dunks. Amazing feeling when you get that spike and end the match in your favor.

Wish they fixed Bowsercide but I suppose getting Frame Trap Klaw grabs is what I'll have to do.

Now Giga Bowser's physics are stupid. Giga Bowser has the highest jump ever but Giga Bowser Bomb? Goes pretty much nowhere. I dun get it.

Hello, I have decided to use the King himself due to using him against a semi competitive friend and doing well with him.

Your friend needs more practice then. Hue.
This. I've looked into taking up Falco and Villager because all of my friends are trash. If I get people complaining about me playing Bzer, there's something wrong. :[ God I wish there was a competitive community up by my school...

My friends fall victim to my Bowser. Because they aren't as good and the only time they give me trouble is when they somewhat competently use a projectile based character. Their advantage however doesn't last that long though. And then they lose.

Basically this. My friends can't handle competent tilt usage, and if they don't button mash, they roll spam. It's rather adorable, but aggravating when no one wants me to play....

Roll spammers learn the hard way with Whirling Fortress. And with the new knowledge of our Jab 1 Frame Traps and the run off Dair suicide kills I'm sure my Bowser play will get more brutal.

When you face a good Ness and then fight someone with Projectiles who isn't as good as that good Ness you tend to overwhelm your opponent and think to yourself about all the dumb mistakes they made. Or think about they could have punished the mistakes the Bowser player (me in this instance) was making.

Sadly I barely even have that... I've yet to play someone I would consider on the level of competitive smash. That's not to say I'm at that level, I just find its hard to improve now when I can't play people who are at that level.

Rarely you get someone on FG who can really play. Such as a god tier Captain Falcon. And then I just lose. Since they Perfect Pivot and Hip Hop Jump all over the place and I get disoriented from just watching.

Not to mention the leg on FG is just atrocious. I lose to people who just spam dash attacks and grabs.

Would love to help but I have no real insight against Puff other then Bowser wants to be on the ground and Puff wants to be in the air. And the fact that a whiffed Rest usually means a Full Charge Dropkick. Which won't be good for Puff.

Already put my opinion in. Basically the gist of it haha.
