Turns out that WiiU Bowsercide ends in Sudden Death.

Crisis averted.

Let's see if 3DS Bowsercide will follow suit. At least then, it'll be like Brawl rather than the lunacy that is Bowser dying first even if he is on top of the opponent and the opponent reaches the blast zone first.

Hmmm. So basically some instances it leads to sudden death but other times it leads to Bowser's loss. Definitely Bowser's loss if against another player. Or so I keep hearing along with repeated tests on the 3DS. I'll be testing this on the Wii U when I get my copy.

Yup. Bowsercide is completely bugged:

I noticed that I was getting Sudden Death often, but then all of a sudden Bowser started dying first. I decided to do a little research. Turns out that Bowsercide's result is completely stage-dependant.

I tested on more stages than what's in the video. There's 3 different scenarios:

1. Normal or Omega, Bowser dies first.
2. Normal or Omega, Sudden Death.
3. One version of the stage leads to Bowser dying first, but the other version ends in Sudden Death.

They should have followed the saying: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

But now, they "fixed" it, and they done broke it. What a hair-trigger reaction and a hasty change to something that was not broken in the first place.

@ -Kagato- -Kagato- GREAT work on these!

Is there some kind of official support email for SSB we can send this to? They seriously need to fix it...

The good news is that, since this is behaving inconsistently, we can chalk it up to a bug and not a deliberate decision to nerf Bowser into never using klaw ever again.
