Unfortunately for you, you can make out the shape of what looks to be like a sleeping security guard, with his chair lodged up against the door knob.
If it's a security guard at this museum, then chances are he has his earplugs in as well.

you are able to lift the barrel onto the table (though just barely) and you scurry up into the ventilation. A typical Monday!

The duct leads forward, and that's about it.

the vent groans as you climb over the grate. The broom acts as a nice brace though, and helps distribute the weight.

Looking down into the the room you can make out that this is some sort of electrical room.

You dislodge the broom, back up and try to navigate it between the grate to get to the switch.v

The grate gives way, as your weight is no longer distributed, and you come crashing down to the ground.

You get a much better look at this room though. It's quite small, and looks to only house a switch which currently is shooting sparks from one of it's connections that appears severed.

from here there are two entrances to different exhibits, the Visual Arts and the Air and Space section.

There are seriously tons of people, it makes it hard to see everything!

You enter the air and space section. various exhibits, are on display, planes, rockets, all manner of that sort of thing

this is by far the most crowded room you've entered!
Ancient Times however, appears to be a bar, but you really can't see anything that's going on, aside from many people enhancing their museum experience, and chatting about how great things used to be.

well, it looks like the museum is in the process of replacing the old exhibit, with a functioning Medieval times restaurant. It is still under construction though.
There is a man here who looks like a foreman, or a worker on the project.
