Serious answer: because Mew2King is the best Cloud, and yet he's not consistent enough yet in order to clinch it for the win. I think the highest he's ever placed at a national with Cloud is 3rd, so yeah...
this leaves all other Clouds, which aren't at M2K's caliber.

I'd say the real serious answer is that top players know the Cloud matchup and fully take advantage of his weaknesses, showing that, as good as he is, he's still nothing but a versatile, yet unstable glass cannon with awkward matchups against most top tiers.

Yeah, probably. Corrin, Bayo, and patches haven't really changed how he's played.

Ah, ok. I'd place him in A tier as well, probably 5th or 6th. He's got plenty of good tools and popularity, but he doesn't have those national wins and his recovery holds him back a lot. It's such a critical weakness for him.

Since I've come back here last week for the first time in a while, I've learned one thing: Cloud can destroy a good rosaluma player.
I have no clue how Mewtwo gets that high, but I'm not gonna complain about it. I love mewtwo.

And yeah, Fox at #4 might be a surprise since most people I've seen place him from 6-9. But, Fox has many good tools, and Larry Lurr has shown me that Fox's tools are impressive and scary.

Mac because no tier list is complete without Mac in the bottom four.
Ness and Lucas because I have two good friends who play only those two, and thus it has spawned a bit of hatred for them.
Olimar because I cannot find a way to play him. He is the one character I could not play even if my life depended on it. Using the pikmin feels weird and janky. Thus, Olimar is at the very bottom, as I regard him to be the worst character playable.
