You got the game to work again by licking it? Fascinating. What game is it?

I'm curious as to what game disc it is as well.

It was my copy of NHL Hitz Pro (Yes, it's spelled like that) on the Gamecube. What is it? It's hockey except there aren't any injuries or penalty shots and you hit other players. A lot. Way more times than in an actual game of hockey. Oh, and you catch on fire. I did 4-5 small licks on different parts of the disc because I was just like "**** it" at this point.

Lately I've been getting into jazz. I blame RWBY, as it has an episode wiht a guy who uses a trumpet.

You catch on fire? That sounds like the best sports game ever, and I really don't like sports or sports video games.

The fact that the solution to getting the disc to work was that simple is really something else, though. Almost makes me want to try that on my Super Mario Sunshine disc (which for some reason refuses to work when I put it in my old Gamecube, yet works perfectly fine on my Wii.)

Well as you go to do the face-off, the fire effect will kick in and the puck also catches on fire if you shoot it before the effect wears off.
