Why's that? Design? Type? Maybe another reason?...63 Litten is still the best![]()
I like Cats, and the designWhy's that? Design? Type? Maybe another reason?...
Cats are indeed great.I like Cats, and the design
And once it comes out I was going to soft reset the game until I got a female Litten and nickname it after my cat that died recently due to Kidney disease..

So what's your opinion on Rick? In early seasons, I adored his character. But in this last half of season 4 and beginning of season 5, in my opinion he's been shafted to the sidelines- when he's the main protagonist. That bothers me.
Do you think his character becomes less important later on in season 4 and the first part of season 5?

Seems like it's over for now. That was odd, though.
Eh, I personally still think he's a huge part of the show. And the second half of season 4, in all fairness, had a lot of episodes focusing on other characters, or ones that were periodically switching between different, separated groups. The first half of season 5 had some of those, too.
I still really like his character myself. He's still the main protagonist, and to me he's still a good character. There are just times where there will be less focus on him.
Yeah, I'm still not into season 6, so I don't see the whole picture of Rick's character. But with the past few episodes, other characters have had more focus, that's for sure.
Another reason why I feel that his character has been shafted is indirectly because of the comics. In the original comic line, while some characters would have pages devoted all to themselves (Andrea, Dale, Carl, and Michonne are the ones that come to mind), Rick was still always in the center, and I always felt like he was always the main protagonist, even though the other characters would still have ample time devoted to themselves. This shows that TWD comics have not only great character development, but the comics also do a darn fine job of character balancing concerning time shown.
With the show, there are chunks where some characters get a ton of development, but then seem to disappear for a time. It doesn't help that with this season, Rick was one of the characters that was made invisible in order to show more of Carol, Daryl, Tyreese, the Governor, Beth, Lizzie, Mika, Bob, etc. I wanted to see a lot more of Rick and what his thoughts and actions were while still dealing with the prison as well as trying to be the leader to the group.
The protagonist is the most important character in the show because they're the main hero, and thus need to drive the story and be relatable to the audience. With the comics and the prison arc, as well as the cannibals arc, I still thought that Rick was still a centerpiece to the story, even though Tyreese and Michonne took the story themselves at that point in time. The show? I didn't see it.
This could easily change once I reach season 6, but for now, I think it would've been better if the producers made Daryl, Carol, or Michonne the main protagonist. Their characters are not only popular, but I feel like I've gotten to know all of them better much moreso than Rick.

I can see where you're coming from, but I'm personally okay with it. I'm not into TWD comics either, so chances are that has something to do with it.
And on that last note, they're all great characters and certainly popular and important to the show as it is right now....but I doubt they'd shift the role of the main protagonist over from one character to another. Not at this point. Rick was there at the very beginning, and we started the show out seeing his own story. Even if he's not always at the center, I simply can't see them replacing his role as the main protagonist over to someone else.
