I totally agree. Besides, I trust your words when you said Limit Break is less useful than what one may think at first.

I never said they were less useful than they seemed...

All I said was that they crippled Cloud's neutral game.

However, this isn't an issue if you use the Limits smartly, like Mew2King does.

I personally think Cloud is decent, but far from top 5. I'd probably place him in 11th at best, and this is only because of his popularity. A more accurate ranking would be closer to 15th.

I wish low tier tournaments were more popular. That way we get to see how underdeveloped characters can be good in certain situations, or maybe even strong enough for middle tier over time.

While the idea of making the characters I play look good would be nice, it is a bit discouraging to be at a constant disadvantage competitively because of the characters I use on top of my lower skill level.

Imo, Ryu definitely isn't top 5. Neither is Pikachu. Both have issues with representation and Ryu's neutral is really only amazing when you're in close range. And don't get me started on Pikachu.
Also Cloud isn't the best swordsman in the game. It's
