What are the benefits?

Spoiler: Here's a list I wrote

• Superhuman strentgh, speed, agility and durability
• Cling to walls and ceilings
• Greatly enhanced smell, sight and night vision
• Ability to control minds, but only one at a time and requires a LOT of concentration. This ability is impossible to perform in the first weeks.
• If you concentrate hard enough, you can use sound waves to detect things, not unlike a bat's sonar. Much like mind control, it takes a long time before learning this skill.
• No need to breathe; your lungs become blood sacks which are linked to your fangs. These sacks has two uses; keep you alive and increase your abilities, although you should only use the latter in cases of emergencies die to the amount of blood it requires
• Near-immortality; only garlic, sunlight, wooden stakes, concentrated light/ultraviolet rays and symbols of whatever religion you believe in can weaken you. Prolonged and/or powerful exposure to any of these causes spontaneous combustion, however.
  • Sunlight is more complex, for it is dependant of the UV index; a low index weakens you, an average one removes your abilities while also making you vulnerable to almost anything that can harm a normal himan being and a high one can cause burns and/or death.
  • Garlic simply weakens you and nothing more.
  • Religious symbols are only effective if the holder of the symbol believes in the same religion and its effects are determined by his or her faith. No effect on atheist vampires.
