one time I found a spider and her egg sac in one of my shoes.. my foot felt something squishy and I had to take off my shoe and figure out what was inside it..

Lots of rain indeed.

Mosquitoes generally like to lay their eggs in water, to my knowledge. If there's enough outdoor water sources in your neighborhood, that might be a part of the cause of the problem.

^Oh yeesh, that sounds nasty. Did the spider seem like a dangerous kind?

Yes, we've talked about it before. There's a small pond across the road for the cows and horses they have. And it does rain fairly often in the summer.

Yay it's nice to see another Californian on here. :seuss:

I see. Though I don't know what kind it might've been, I'm surprised the eggs weren't just smashed/destroyed from all that.

How long ago exactly? Like a few years or so? (Oh joy, the post timing glitch is happening again....)

No. I got it out of the shoe and she grabbed her eggs and ran off.. I don't remember what happened precisely since it was a while..

Oh yes, our house is just fill of tiny brown spiders. You can find one hiding around at least one of the windows all the time.

No, they're too small to do anything, really. We used to kill them, but these days I just leave them alone. No matter how many we kill, there's always more, so why bother?
Sometimes my sister kills them-but sometimes, she lets them outside.

I try to ignore them or get them out of my room if they're in there. If it's a type I've never seen or know is bad (we never get Brown Widows inside the house though) that's another story.

How tiny are the ones you get?

I was getting ready for school so like about 5+ years ago lol. The egg was in the farthest part of the show near where the toes would be so they could have survived lol
oh Silver lost your premium? A new prank victim  :troll:

You said the spider ran off with her eggs?

How many eggs were there and how big was the spider? The eggs must have been really small or the spider must have been fairly big.
