Thanks for the compliment and about the Super Smash being too violent there is no blood so to me it's not too violent. BTW Luigi isn't a true clone.

He may not be a "true" clone in your opinion, but much of his moveset is copied from Mario's. In my book, that makes him a clone, albeit a really well done clone. Thanks for the compliment and about the Super Smash being too violent there is no blood so to me it's not too violent. I understand what your saying, but Ike and BK behaved nearly identically on the battles in PoR. So why not do what they did with Ganondorf (and possibly Luigi): clone Ike's moveset and make up one or two original attacks?Luigi isn't a true clone because they didn't take Mario's wire frame and just slap a Luigi skin on it he has an original body. While Ike could have a moveset like that I doubt he would because Ike isn't as hands on as BK if that makes any sense. Black Knight to me seems like the kind of guy to just dive into a battle and kill everything while Ike seems like the stick and move type IMO.
Greil? Lv.20 Ike? He fought some worthy opponents, and both times he's very calculating/smooth/unerring.Well no one in PoR really was a challenge to BK so maybe if he was around more worthy adversaries he would go a little wild.
They very easily COULD make him a clone but give him some original attacks but the question is will they.I understand what your saying, but Ike and BK behaved nearly identically on the battles in PoR. An even better question would be: why wouldn't they when the two are so similar? They very easily COULD make him a clone but give him some original attacks but the question is will they.
But if they were going to include an original character, wouldn't they select a more unique character from the Fire Emblem series? The answer to that question Wiseguy is because the more original movesets the better. I don't hate clones in any way but original movesets are better.
BK is unique, He is the first villain to be in two FE games (I think) and is the most mysterious. Plus there is the armor the sword and the surprise of who he is we find out in GoD.But if they were going to include an original character, wouldn't they select a more unique character from the Fire Emblem series?
I don't see how.Don't get me wrong, I want BK in Brawl more than any other character (except Olimar) but his chances are extremly low unless he is included as a clone.
I already said I don't hate clones I just think original movesets are better. If clones do make it into brawl I'll be upset everyone didn't get an original moveset but I'll get over it quickly (Especially if we get like over 50 characters). As I've said repeatedly, clones can incorporated into the game in a fraction of the time that an original character would require. I just don't understand your hosility to clones, as they allow many more characters to be included before the game's release - however far in the future that may be.
BK certainly brings a unique presense to Brawl, but in terms of his moveset he isn't original at all.BK is unique, He is the first villain to be in two FE games (I think) and is the most mysterious. Plus there is the armor the sword and the surprise of who he is we find out in GoD.
You make it seem like the smash team is trying to avoid doing to much work. The smash team will not cheat a deserving character out of an original moveset just because he could easily be a clone. The only reason I think BK might be a clone is the fact that they where taught by the same man so kind of like the relationship Mario and Luigi have they will have a same yet different moveset on purpose.
I've heard people say he doesn't like them but thats not official.Look, neither you nor I know Sakurai's policy towards clones in Brawl.
It's been confirmed recently for definite 07 release but thats it.I know you have pointed out in the past that since Brawl has no set release date (that we know of) the team could take as much time as it takes to design a unique moveset for every single character.
I see where your getting at. They may add clones late in development as bonuses. That is the only way I can see clones in but the more I think about it the more that seems likely. However, judging by the Smash team's decisions in the Melee roster, I'm guessing we can still expect some clones. No matter how long the Samsh Team has to work on Brawl, they can still include many more characters within that time if they include some clones.
Luigi is both a clone and not a clone at the same time. Unlike other clones his wire frame wasn't copied by someone else but like other clones he has basically the same attacks as the one he is a clone of with some different ones and changed stats. And I don't understand what you mean by Luigi being "the same yet different" from Mario. My understanding is that Luigi's moveset is cloned from Mario, only he was given drastically different stats and some original attacks - although I could be wrong.
sounds about right to me :DWell Numa Dude it appears we agree on something: an original moveset for BK would be preferable, but including him as a Luigi-style clone is still possible. Personally, I'll just be happy if he gets in, no matter what form he takes.
In conclusion...
IKE AND THE BLACK KNIGHT FOR BRAWL!!!!
Unfortunatly, there hasn't been a North American release date (Curse you Nintendo! Why must you constantly toy with us?!) but it is a certainty that it will be released worldwide before year's end. I'd say we'll probably get it around the same time that we got PoR (October-ish).(Off topic) does anyone know an exact release date for GoD in north America?
Welcome to the winning side Saimdusan. Ike & BK all the way!I would say Marth, Ike and Black Knight for Brawl.
I used to say Sothe, because originally he was thought to be the main character of FE Wii, but he's not. He only is in part of the game (and even Ike is the main character in part of the game). At least according to Wikipedia.
Good to know. I'll try to remeber that in the future.Note: according to Nintendo Power, it's "Macaiah". I expect everyone to start spelling it thusly from now on.
Says you...he will so not be in the game
When you say "he", I'm assuming you mean Krazy Kenny K., right?he will so not be in the game
Yes, my concise friend, The Black Knight is in Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn.is he in it?
From which game?he looks like a darknut.
