:chuckle: Alright so, I believe in 6 zones that a Falco should pay attention to.

1: The opponent is on the edge

2: Starting distance on FD

3: Close combat

4: About 2 or 3 Falcos away from you

5: When you are on the edge

6: Is the air, which we prefer. I'll have another section just for this zone.

I think this is important because if you are SHDL'ing in zones 3 and 4, you will get grabbed or punished. Especially against MK.

Zones 1 2 3 and 6 are zones we should have the advantage.

Zone 1: We can limit our opponent's options with SHDL

Zone 2: We can just spam SHDL, approach with it, or camp with it

Zone 3: Jab them like in SF4 baybee. Grab them.

Zone 6: We have bair and dair, Uair and Nair are pretty nice too.

The bad zones:

Zone 4: If we SHDL, the opponent can rush in and get a throw

Zone 5: We're on the ledge. That's always bad.

:psycho:

This is all I've got right now, I'm at school. I'll add more when I get home at like, 4:10PM EST.

Or you could add the stuff you have to the official falco guide, so people might start taking interest again :D

Either way, your call.

I'd love to read it.

Awesome sig btw
I'll give him until the end of the day unless he says something.

I have moments like that all of the time with my friends on aim, but I can't put all of them on my sig. :-/ ty for the compliment. That whole thing came from when I got really good at platform canceling. When I showed everyone, they were all like....that's useless...and slowly but surely everyone wanted to learn how to do it. It's stupid, but amazing.

Edit it into the OP of this thread when you're done.

No need for another thread.

Not necessarily, match-up dependent.
Zone 1: We can limit our opponent's options with SHDL

Zone 2: We can just spam SHDL, approach with it, or camp with it
besides many more options
Zone 3: Jab them like in SF4 baybee. Grab them.

Zone 6: We have bair and dair, Uair and Nair are pretty nice too.
our aerials aren't safe on shield
The bad zones:

Zone 4: If we SHDL, the opponent can rush in and get a throw
why shdl? why not shl? why not shine? this is all to situational
Zone 5: We're on the ledge. That's always bad.

.
You can't discuss zones like this with match-ups and situational stuff.

You can't say about close combat 'here we have the advantage' we don't always have the advantage in close combat.

Alright thanks for the input. I'm just putting zones out there so we can add them to matchups.

In general n stuff. I can see where you're going.
