Best Stages Based On Matchup?

Okay so in melee discussion I'm doing a best/worst stages based on each matchup. For My second character I was going to do Ice Climbers, becuase there so fun with there grabs! =p. Anyways for each match-up what do you guys consider the best stage for ice Climbers. Against sheik I would say final Destination. So what do you guys all think?

Guys if you'd like too it's be awsome if you put thread like these in ohter character specific if you can, so we can make one master list. I'll do more once this and the peach one near completion but if you guys made some threads of your own that whould be cool.

BTW, Do and Don't. We need a better word. any suggestions?

FD is the #1 stage for ice climbers in MOST situations.

the only major exception, imo, is against luigi, who is difficult to grab on that stage since he is one of the only characters that wd's faster than the ice climbers. luigi is someone you'd want to keep on top with uairs and usmashes. one of the few. and maybe jigglypuff.

um.. other than that, it is definitely ic's best stage lol. they can play great on platforms, they do more harm to them than good on many matchups.

i prefer Hyrule Temple because it has so many levels and paths that allow you to make up combos on the spot and yet still be able to keep your footing. the stage even allows for camping easily.

i personally believe that any character can be fought relatively easily on Hyrule Temple even though its not allowed in tournament play (stupid stallers, ruining it for the rest of us...).

Do: FD, Battlefield.
Don't: Dreamland, Fountain of Dreams.

Don't: Dreamland, Rainbow Cruise

This is just based on my experience of what stage suits me best. However once they figure out I play ICs FD is banned. Other then FD, Dreamland, Pokemon Stadium, and on certain situations Yoshi Story are probably your best stages.

Imo i would just put Dreamland in all Do's i like that map and i am speaking as a person who uses ICs as a main

Only way I wouldn't do FD, is against Luigi because of his recovery, and Falco because I hate him.

i actually like Icicle Mountain as an arena (yes, i am crazy). most people can't keep up with teh stage/ aren't used to vertical fighting so it gives me an advantage (i'm a very lateral fighter). most people either over jump or under jump and end up dead.

lol good stuff. For most characters its FD, for floaties its YS. That's pretty much it. Don'ts are moving stages and Jungle Japes.

FD is their best level almost always (always) and pokefloats followed by rainbow cruise sucks for them.
