Guys, Nihonjin is awesome for sure, but CJ is still better.
And just because he beat CJ once does not mean he's better. I believe Amsah himself thinks CJ is better.
But well, anyway, we'll see this at ESA2 :p
Riight.. And I think CJ thinks Amsah is better.

>_> What does that matter. Won once > Lost once.

And having won every single european tournament for like 2 years in a row...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IfGnZ1AN74 O_O

Oh just remembered, Amsah indeed did get ***** by CJ, but that was ages ago.

People are saying Nihonjin but he seriously hasn't had the amazing acomplishments as KDJ did by beating the best in the world "Ken" and the now argued best in the world "M2K" but both those people play Marth.

Nihonjin ***** many characters all over with Sheik with extreme fashion and skill but KDJ hasn't had the chance to since he'd choose another character. I'd say it's either or.

You have to remember that CJ plays with NTSC, so he may not be used to playing Nihonjin in the PAL version. Also, Sheik dittos are hardly a good indication of the skill of characters.

I once watched CJ lose to some random Yoshi because the PAL version screws with Sheik's mechanics. But I do give props to Nihonjin for playing so well with a PAL Sheik.

best sheik in the world is so far between KDJ, CJ and Nihonjin. And stop saying Sheik is hard to play at a competitive level. She's terribly more broken than what may appear, just not played that much in the US. Also both Sheik and Marth > Fox and >> Falco if you ask me.

It's somewhere between KDJ, M2K, and Azen.

Nihonjin obviously has the best PAL sheik, but that doesn't count for as much.

LMAO @ anyone saying DSF

Rofl this thread is absolutely pointless. What you guys gonna do crown one of these best sheik based on their performance in a different continent >.>.

Amsah sheik ***** in ntsc btw I'd say he's more broken in ntsc then he is in pal XD.

So wait... why are we automatically assume that Europeans are inferior to Americans? It makes me sick that even good players are doing this. Especially seeing we're talking about Nihonjin here. You know, I could definatly see the Europe in general, but the difference is slight at best, definatly nothing to scoff at.

Plus, nobody from America has even played Nihonjin/EK/Svampen/Masamune/etc., and no, Oro doesn't count, that was ages ago. People from America (most) have no idea what they're talking about.

It makes me laugh really. Like I'm not even kidding, the ignorance is amazing. A few American pros who like the steryotype that Europeans such just kind of through it out there as part joke, part friendly trash talk, part really believeing that, and all the vast American audience just regurjatates it with a few "lols" thrown in there. lame

I guess what gets me is the people who are supposedly using "comparative logic" to assume America is better when there is next to no evidence to prove it. In fact, watching the players in question play, Europe looks pretty d*** good...

Am I the only one who can watch the Europeans, see the mindgames, see how smart the players are, and recognize them as good and doesn't have to have some list of tournament results to tell me who is good and who is not? Because if you somehow think the Europeans are inferior by watching their videos, then you have no idea what you're talking about, I don't care if you're pro or not, doesn't make you the authority on judgement, especially seeing almost every pro opinion is contredicted by several other pros. Funny. There are several ways to play this game.

Other things:

The people that think Nihonjin wouldn't be good on NTCS are dumb (or alluded to rather, if people want to try to have some stupid technical argument with me).

Whoever said Svampen is a random Yoshi nullified any potential arguments they could have.

Whoever said KDJ beat Ken and he is therefore superior to Nihonjin the "non-accomplished" is ********. Nihonjin has very similar achievements. Remember how big of a deal it was when he beat EK, a very similar accomplisment.

I couldn't agree with you more, Velox. I agree; Nihonjin is an incredibly good player, along with quite a few other European smashers. Very well said.

The main reason I said KDJ or DSF without inserting Nihonjin is because personally, I think KDJ and DSF are better. That doesn't in any way mean I don't think Nihonjin is amazing.

Nihonjin by far. He has revolutionized the character. If he was American I suspect he would definitely be the best player in the world with a bullet.

I would have liked to have seen Nihonjin vs Emily back when she was still playing. She's never been good at sheik dittos though.

peace out

I dont understand why everyone still worships CJ, he really is old news even in japan

Nihonjin is **** good, but its useless to compare him to the U.S. unless he starts playing competeively over here

Best U.S. sheik? Obviously its Thomas Tipman

lmao i laugh at you for chooseing m2k and maybe even azen
they just use sheik with mindgames, they dont utilize all her moves

i actually like your sheik too tope
but i have to say dsf really revolutionized sheik back in the earlier days
i dont recall anyone really using needle canceled backairs etc before him
i always figured omar's sheik was a faster versions of DSF

nihonjin has amazing mindgames with sheik i hope to play him one day if i ever travel to europe before brawl comes out

no, I'd say you don't know what you're talking about and you probably base things off youtube vids. Less than 2 weeks ago my Sheik beat Chillin's Fox in tourney 3-1, the same tourney that he beat Chu and PC Chris at. You don't know anything about my Sheik, so shouldn't act like I don't utilize all of her moves, because I do quite well.
