If - like me- you've been following the Dojo AND looking at videos on IGN, youtube and Gametrailers, do you feel a strong sense of dissapointment when you wait 24 hours to find out something you already know? The past two days have been metaknights final smash and the on-screen entrances (both of which have appeared numerous times in existing videos). Feel the same annoyance? Post below.

I do, though the other three updates this week were pretty good (especially the stage builder), so I don't really feel disappointed.

I don't get annoyed at all. It's not Sakurai's fault we found the info elsewhere.

As many of us Smash Bros. Players will look for all the info we can, not everyone who wants to get smashbros will look for every piece of information on the net. Hell some people are unaware of www.smashbros.com and its daily updates.

I'm not dissapointed at all, yes I might know it but this week was pretty epic with a stage builder. Can't have to many Epic updates. Plus did you know Lucas was riding in on a Mr. Saturn Table from Mother 3?

Even though we already knew about the stage entrances, it's a great update. It's one of the small things that I really missed in Melee and I'm glad to see them back.

I'm sure if Sakurai decided "Oh hey, they already know what MetaKnight's Final Smash is, I just won't update today" we'd be dealing with a huge number of topics complaining about the lack of an update.

The guy who does the translating gets given about a months worth at once and a schedual he has to follow for each daily update.

It's not Sakurai's fault and you should all just give it a rest.

Yeah, any update is good. Plus, ICs and Snake's entrances look boss. :)

Any update is good, even if we may already know a few here, or there. It provides us with some up close screens, which is always nice.

First I heard about Sonic being in Brawl from other site. It didn't have the same feeling.

The biggest issue concerning the updates is now there are 2 months more then Sakurai probably originally intended to deal with, so we are probably going to see little things like this more often I would imagine.

But really todays update gave me a good chuckle and a decent feeling so I guess it doesn't feel wasted to me.

I liked seeing Snake's intro.
And for MK's FS, I watched every e for all vid i could find and I might've missed it. But I didn't realize it could hit multiple people. It makes him much better in my eyes cause I was thinking he looks awesome but his FS looks weak, but now I know better.

It's not really our "fault" we found out about the information. They chose was was going to be in the demo, and they choose what will be in updates. In other words, for Sakurai to have released a demo with MK in it, he MUST have known both MKs final smash and chracter intros would have spread through the information highway like wildfire.

Thus, it's very disappointing when we get a combo of updates we already know. I'm already dreading updates like ZSS' final smash, norfair, torchic, jill, and that's just to name a few. I'd no idea he'd squander an already known update (a singular, Friday update at that) on chracter intros. Thus, the list of already known updates in the way still seems huge.

First 3 days made up for last 2 days though. However, I wish Sakurai did not list special moves or final smashes at all. I would rather find those out when game was released. Put out more character, stage, at, and pokeball confirmations instead.

It's just good to get the demo updates out of the way to make room for at least new updates, though some udoubtedly going to be just an item or something.

Once again, not everyone watches all the details going on like we do around here. Just take the updates as they come, it's really not something worth getting worked up about.

Not really. It's a good thing we get to see some things close up, and not just from shaky camera's. Besides, if we get AT's or Pokeballs that were in the demo, we get a shiny render and CLEAR screenshots. So it's still a good thing.

That's one of the advantages of getting updates of things we've seen on Youtube and what not.
The pictures are not pixelated or have heads moving in front of them or have pointless music playing in the backround.

Let's see, updates left to underwhelm us

Techniques:
Crawling (cod forbid), Throwing, Tripping (?)

Final Smashes:
ZSS, Ike, Sonic

Stages:
Norfair, Mario Circuit

Items:
Smart Bomb, Deku Nut, Spring Board, Lightning, Spiky Urchin thing

ATs:
Metroid, Saki, Jill, Advance Wars

Pokeballs
Lati@s, Torchic, Gardevoir, Kyogre, Bonsly

Not even including the techniques, thats a total of 19 updates, or almost a full month. So whereas we have about 3 months of updates to go, we can expect a whole third of it to be old news. That's kind of disapointing.

Some it will probably be double updates though, so maby not so bad.

I expect the Dojo to have maby 1 or 2 exciting things per week and the rest just filler, at least until we get like a month before launch, then maby we will be getting some awesome updates.

Well, getting a Mario Circuit update actually will be nice because I'm sure they'll be alot more to it then what we've seen so far, so that'll be far from underwhelming.

Anyways, stop complaining. No other game has other done this before for its fans. Yes, sometimes its dissapointing, but its better then the alternative.

I like these updates. They let me know that something new might be around the corner and that something old is out of the way. It also gives us more details about the stuff we know in more detail.

Pysmon I completely disagree with you.

Why would anyone be annoyed with the updates? so what if it's something you already have seen the updates? Not everyone has seen every single video and over-analyzed it. Most people haven't, so seeing Meta Knights FS, or Stage entrances is something big for them.

Annoyed from an update? Do you expect EVERY single update to be mind-shattering good without spoiling the entire game completely? People who are annoyed of updates personally annoy me.

I don't mind really. I get disappointed but I don't mind.

There are a lot more people who haven't seen the videos on youtube/gametrailers and don't know about E for All than there are those of us who have. Sakurai is trying to cater to all of us. Plus, sometimes Sakurai says things or gives more information about the updates than what we would have known just from watching the videos.

Again, he's trying to cater to the smash community as a whole. We aren't the only ones who are watching the Dojo every day.

I don't mind, "old news", but I wish that if they release a boring post on a Poke'ball or something, another update comes with it, like character moves or a stage.

We all feel disappointed that we're finding out the E for All stuff all over again. On the other hand, he's lumping them all together, which means he must be revealing already revealed stuff so that he can keep all the unknown stuff together.

Wait a minute, time out! T.O. I know Sakurai is orginally from Japan, but he can't at all speak English? Go figure....

Sorry, but I just do not like repetitive updates, and most nights I stay up till 3:00 A.M. I get them. Which sucks!

If only, if only he did the updates of the website that was convient for us Americans. 8:00 P.M. would be a nice hour to do it.
