ran out of batteries at 4am studying for a test at 8am. we needed calculators on the test, so my friend and I had to go back to his dorm (we were studying for the test in my apartment) to find some batteries

pokemon gold doesnt work because of the battery. =[

heh, I used to remember the the god ol' days when I would play Gold and Silver on my Game Boy Color and when the battery indicator was low, I would beg for it to let me finish up a battle.

also I hate it when my cell phone dies out after forgetting to charge it.

among the figments of your imagination
Energizer E-squared lithium batteries. they will last for-ever. I've had them last over 6 months in my Wiimote playing LoZ TP pretty regularly at the time.

Worst battery experience, I'll go with ironic experience. during my trip to Japan, I used up eight batteries (ordinary Duracell if I remember correctly) over the course of about five days. When I ran out, my gracious Japanese hosts offered me some Japanese batteries, they lasted for the rest of the trip and several weeks afterward. Just goes to show, Japanese-made things often work much better than U.S.-made equivalents.

Batteries have got to be the most dramatic object. Other things stop working or break, But Batteries… they die.

Not being able to play wii due to battery having no power in them. Luckily I just take them out and rub them with my hands and strangely they last for 7-10 sec. Long enough for me to click on brawl :D.

I have rechargeable ones that take 18 HOURS to charge and probably only last for 10-12. I remember at one point both of them died and I couldn't play my Wii because of it.

I love Energizer batteries, I can't recall one time they have ever failed me.

360 controllers eat battery. EAT. My AA budget will skyrocket w/ 3 controllers if I don't do something.

The rechargeable packs are $10, $15 w/ charger, so it'd cost me $35 min. to get some, although it'd probably be cheaper in the long run.
I'm happy with my set of rechargeable batteries :D

...now if only I didn't lose that recharge case.....I left it hanging on the wall! Where did it go?

I no longer use disposable AA batteries for things such as the Wiimote. I have rechargeables. They save tons of money, trust me. Even if they do die quicker, they're still worth the purchase.

I think battery acid just tastes really terrible, other than that it does nothing to my knowledge...I wonder what happens if you swallow it though...

One time in a brawl match my wii remote ran out of juice and I could do nothing except go find batteries close by as a level 9 pummeled me to death. Also one time I stuck a non-rechargeable battery in a recharger, and it got all.... weird.

DIGITAL CAMERAS ARE BATTERY EATERS! I've got two sets of batteries that can be recharged to use in this thing, and I swear it runs out of batteries in twenty minutes unless I turn it off between uses. And it takes half a second too long to start up when there's a spontaneous moment to capture...like my dog being an idiot with wrapping paper.

Actually I play Brawl a lot more than I really should be, and my energizer batteries never run out. I swear I bought like a big ol' pack of Energizer batteries thinking that they would go empty quite fast, but I get the opposite.

Hopefully you recycle all of them.
