Nobody's been watching Miller play lately, lol.

James Jones would give you more scoring at the expense of more space for Ray Allen and fewer rebounds. Meh.

When Magloire did play late in the season he was far better than Damp. Do you actually watch Miami? It's a legit question. I don't watch LA much, so if you were to ask something like who's better Steve Blake or Shannon Brown I'd be like ionno Brown? I imagine it's the same for you and the heat's two actual bigmen. But whatevs it's tangential.

^^^ case in point

Edit: the stats back me up on Magloire > Damp. I know they don't tell the whole story, but surely they count as evidence.

Damp R/40 mins: 8.7
Damp P/40 mins: 6.3
Damp fg%: .584

Magloire R/40: 15.4 (holy ****)
Mags P/40: 8.9
Mags fg%: .591

Oh yeah, so what's everyone's take on Artest getting the league's citizenship award? I see it as a good thing for him. He's come a long way, and I'm glad he's finally settled down and is doing good in his life.

Yeah, your right Bowser King there are two games.

Kind of a bummer though that they are both afternoon games. A night game is always great to watch. Oh well I'm not going to complain at all about it.

Oh yeah, my predictions

Bulls over Hawks in 4
Celtics over Heat in 7
Lakers over Mavs in 7
Thunder over Grizzlies in 6

Oh my bad. I saw on Friday that the schedule was Spurs vs Memphis and Boston vs Miami. I assumed the series would start later if Memphis won.

I see an NFL, and an MLB... But no NBA thread?!
That is because the NFL and MLB actually take skill to play unlike the NBA. I will never understand basketball, grown *** men over 7 ft playing a game made for children, where is the sense of danger? Where is the strategy? Where are the great moments? Not there, just dribble, dribble, dribble shoot ball in basket, all the same all the time, it is pretty crappy. You just need to be tall, and not handicapped to play basket ball. I see freaking Zoo animals play something similar to basket ball, doesn't look hard at all.

Now, the real sports, NFL and MLB, that sell tickets, that is memorable, that has entire fields to express skill on and you don't have to big foot with no childhood to qualify. Basket ball doesn't even have a field, only the good sports have a field, bigger and more people to get excited about. Whatever then, that is my opinion and I will leave this thread alone, just answering your question on why this thread didn't exist, I just don't see the appeal.

Basketball is stupid, everyone who likes it is stupid, and everyone who plays it is stupid. Courts are stupid. Matter of fact, only things that aren't stupid are zoo animals. Zoo animals are SMART AS HELL.

On a serious note, with regards to how dangerous it is, basketball causes more injuries that have to be treated in the emergency room than any other sport. Football is 3rd and Baseball is 5th. Source. And I'm not biased; I actively follow all three of those sports.

I've watched nearly every regular season game if that answers your question.

And I never said Magloire sucks. I just said he never gets playing time over Damp. You don't want someone who doesn't play at all in the regular season to be your "secret weapon" against a player who is going to drastically change the series with his presence alone. It's common sense dude.

If Spo REALLY wanted Magloire to be ready for Boston he would have given Big Cat more minutes, but most of the time he's out of the rotation, so Damp is most likely going to get his minutes.

I know in Game 1, Nuggets got ahead big time, but Memphis is looking VERY confident.

Lol and when I say this, the lead dwindles from 16 to 10

Isn't it weird when a team goes up big, the opposition catches up, but can never get over the hump? Then the game stays close the rest of the way lol.

I think it's some kind of weird mentality thing where teams are like "oh okay we're ahead by 15 we don't have to play as hard now." But then all of the sudden they're only up by 3 and they're like "damn they're about to catch up now so we gotta start trying."

I think everyone does it subconsciously. I think it's just a fact that you're gonna naturally play harder when the game is close as opposed to if you're up by 20.

In other news- Memphis never fails to impress. Has an 8th seed ever won the championship?

Marc Gasol hitting jump shots like his bro. It would be a cool story line for Pau and Marc to go against each other in the WCF.

TRG, I can't think of any 8th seed to go all the way. Football has had a few.

Thunder trying to make one last hurrah. Durant needs to step up. He looks like he's playing decoy rather than take over the game and will my team to win.

I just looked it up theres only been one 8th seeded team to even reach the Finals and that was the 1999 New York Knicks. Unfortunately they lost in 5 games to the Spurs.

I'm changing my prediction from OKC in 6 to Memphis in 7 :awesome:.

I'm getting a bit pissed off at this. OKC is getting a lot of ticky tack fouls in their favor.

GG Zombie Sonics. This game proved a lot on when I say Durant has trouble creating his own shot without screens and such.

He got the elbow, but that **** happens all the time lol. Kobe would lead the league in free throws if that **** was called.

Wow, what a fail ABC intro to this series.
