I'd also note on the page, it only lists compatibility with Playstation, Xbox controllers and smartphones. Obviously it's because of the Switch's unique design, but it's always a possibility the Nintendo part was a mistake.

I just saw this link to what appears to be some kind of product listing for that Exquisite Gaming Banjo-Kazooie Cable Guy. The most important thing to note here is that it is called "Cable Guy - Nintendo Banjo Kazooie Phone & Controller Holder". Naturally, the key word here is the direct mention of Nintendo in the product name. Do you guys think it means anything?

It sounds like this cable holder thing is just probably a mistake in my opinion. It seems weird that “Nintendo” is in the title, but not the description. Still, plenty of other evidence for Banjo-Kazooie, so it’s not too much of a loss.

I'd like to be in as well but it might seem kinda weird if you were to add mine in too. Then again, it might make the picture that much better lol. Especially if it turns out in a scrolling style gif which slowly pans across the crowd. Imagine seeing the pair very last, possibly with tears in their eyes while wearing a gentle smile. Of course I might be the only one who'd like the idea. Do as you'd like. I'm fine either way. All that really matters is that potential reveal trailer. How wonderful it would be

I'm curious if Best Buy would repeat that mistake with their weekly ads again. A few weeks before Joker released, Best Buy advertised the Fighter Pass and had Joker's render, which at the time was not public.

So if a character is coming this week, could we see their appearance on BB before Tuesday.....?

Swop If you want to add me too, that'd be cool. I know I'm not a normal BK supporter myself(though I did add the duo to a N64 Fighting Game roster I'm working on), I do respect their legacy and it'd be the first true N64 character we'd get as well.

I'm not sure what avatar to add though. Maybe my old one I used for Brian(Quest 64). I mean, there's a decent amount of images of him. I guess it depends if you're using fanart or polygonal models or official character art. I do have some images saved that have the BG removed if needed. You can probably PM or something if necessary, I guess?

While I doubt that there's a character announcement at the tournament, do not lose hope if it's not Banjo if there is one. With all the insiders backing him his chances are quite good and Nintendo will want to have more of a focus on him at the Direct or possibly at Microsoft's event.

And I love Halo.

It's easy to see why. Halo is still a massive franchise and genre-defining(it literally spawned a whole new style of FPS. BK, as awesome as it is, did not spawn the idea of 3D collectathons. Super Mario 64 started that), and Master Chief is a major gaming icon, instantly recognizable to pretty much everyone. Even in Japan. Being liked has nothing to do with being iconic. He's still known and would sell immensely well worldwide due to that.

BK was a pipedream in comparison, until more leaks showed up. The requests didn't pile up till around 4's DLC too. They still had support, obviously. But not to the same degree.

If this is what I think it means, I got my wish! I've kind of hoped that Nintendo would buy Banjo Kazooie and it looks like it may be happening. Now all that needs to happen is for Playtonic to be hired by Nintendo and bam! We got the real Rare back!

In their defense, if Erdrick’s seriously happening, then it would make more sense. Plus, Halo was even planned for DS many, many years ago.

Still, I’d more expect Master Chief to have a better chance in the next pass if there is one, and with the extra datamined slots in WoL, I’m certainly expecting there to be.
