So if Shovel Knight is on the roster than these are my predictions. After debate I decided to choose Chibi-Robo. I debated on him due to having a trophy in the "Others" section, but then I realized that the Viruses had on in the same section on the Wii U version rather than the Mario series, and on the 3DS version some Shy Guys appear in the Mario section, while others appear in the Yoshi section. So I decided to add him. Plus it's not as if he has multiple trophies in the section, so I realized that he'd still fit. I predict that Wolf will be the last veteran, Shovel Knight will be a Guest newcomer, while Bandana Dee and Chibi-Robo will both be Newcomers. Here's the list.

Both Issac and Chibi-Robo appear in a Smash Bros fangame that I'm sure you've heard of called SSF2 and from there alone their movepool is apparent, but here's the thing, Chibi-Robo's series was very popular in Japan, while Golden Sun I don't believe was, and not only that, but Chibi-Robo is getting a game (which unsuprisingly is getting tons of hate) this year, while the last Golden Sun game was released I beleive four years ago, which was also kind of a flop. Also tbh I literally have nothing against Issac or King K. Rool fans, I'm just unsure about them.

LOL, a guy in Miiverse said Bandana Dee is not an specific character because he is a Waddle Dee with a bandana and that there were multiple BDs in Rainbow Curse, ignoring the fact that you can indentify Bandana Dee without his bandana thanks to his colour, size, abilities and personality differences and that the BD clones in RC were created by Elline... and also that multiple Kirbys appear in a lot of games...

Speaking of Jigglypuff, uh, has anyone else noticed the weird overlap between us Bandana Dee supporters and Jigglypuff mains? I swear, it feels like a good 1/5 of us main at times, I wonder why?

It's clearly a insurance so that when Bandana Dee inevitably gets in, and Jpuff is somehow cut by black magic, you'll all feel like you owe us, mwuhahahahahaha.
But seriously, any idea on what's up with that?

I've noticed it, too, and as the Jigglypuff fanboy worshipper officianado and a Bandanna Dee supporter, I think it could be because they're both adorable blobs of stuff who are floaty and have items that are signature to them. Or maybe Lord Jigglypuff has spread her word farther than I thought.

This is probably due to an overlap in "cute-culture" fans.

There definitely seems to be a general leaning towards cute-but-tough characters in this thread, and the fandoms that overlap within it.

Honestly, I just wanna play Super Star anything, but I only have a 3DS. As I said, I have an emulator on my computer, but keyboard controls + frame rate drops if too much is going on means it's pretty difficult. I completed Spring Breeze, but due to the controls I originally set myself, I lost a life at (essentially) the very beginning. Gourmet Race looks to be very difficult due to aforementioned problems.

Also, DS being the best selling console? Don't you mean handheld?

Honestly, I just wanna play Super Star anything, but I only have a 3DS. As I said, I have an emulator on my computer, but keyboard controls + frame rate drops if too much is going on means it's pretty difficult. I completed Spring Breeze, but due to the controls I originally set myself, I lost a life at (essentially) the very beginning. Gourmet Race looks to be very difficult due to aforementioned problems.
