Okay, I usually don't pay attention to WHEN they happen, I just watch them.

But the keyword here is USUALLY, because the first direct this year was in January, and the next was April. (even though the direct before January was in November)

Yes, I vote for him everytime I have access to another computer/cell phone. (Yes, if you didn't know, your computer and your cell phone count as different votes).

And yes, we will probably have an August Direct, they will show the Tournament Mode and those things, so... it's something.

Well, they're adding Tournament Mode in August, so they'll probably talk about that and the confirmed DLC stages too. Maybe even announce a character or two.

I don't think you should expect a Character reveal in an August Direct unless you consider Mii costumes to be new characters. (which I don't) Considering the Ballot ends in October, and all DLC characters up to Ryu were already in development, I don't think any new characters (except for Wolf) have a chance at having development begun just yet. (that was a weird sentence) In my honest opinion, I think that DLC will run to the end of 2016, with up to one character coming out this year. (and I expect that character will be Wolf)


Editing this to ask, has there been a Chibi Robo support thread? Because if so, I'd like to join.

We are not really 100% sure, but Directs are bimonthly, so, it's very possible.
There is also the fact that the Tournament Mode and the other things will be released on August.

there was one move robin has in this game that he can't use in fire emblem i forget what it was though it had a funny name i think.

So. That doesn't mean anything. Are you trying to get at that Sakurai is trying to stay true to characters therefore one of the most iconic Nintendo characters of all time shouldn't be in Smash because he canonically can't jump. Yes, because Ganondorf is so true to his character, and Robin can totally use Nosferatu in Awakening, and Mario totally automatically kills characters when he foot stools off of them. Keeping a character that deserves to be in Smash Bros out of it because they "can't jump" is a bull**** reason.

Remember that time Fox set himself on fire and launched 10 feet in the air? Or when Dedede's mallet suddenly had cybernetic enhancements? What about the time Falcon did Taekwondo? How about when Roy blew people up with his sword and set them on fire?

Ok ok ok. The reasons I said that was because I was ignorant & kinda don't see him being in Smash anytime soon. But if he were to get in Smash somehow, perhaps he would be a fastfaller or have low jumps. But this is getting off topic.

Yea I can see why people would not want this thread to get 8 years old by the time Smash 5 releases, because DLC & patches are a thing now which is why we complain about Sheik & which character should get in as DLC:)
I'm at fault for this too for complaining about which characters should get buffed.

You should do the same, I don't know why you guys have to wait for me to say "Hey guys! Make propaganda!".
I mean, it's not really hard, you just go to Youtube videos related to Kirby or Smash and post "vote for Bandana Dee", or just write the same thing in the Smash community in Miiverse.

that's what I mean, it seems most people are waiting for it and expecting it, no-ones doing anything different, smashified and smash bros are not related, just because someone's popular on smashified, doesn't mean they'll get in, which is why I say just asking to have him in smashified is a waste of time, if this is all what we do he'll likely only be in smash 5. also people are acting like smashified will make him be in smash, like I said before... most characters are already voted for. if someone likes bandana dee for smash they've probably voted, and pictures won't change someone's mind, so, no step 1 is not asking him to be drawn, its supporting him, which we really haven't done, our sites, and social media aren't getting attention, so try to get him into smash first and smashified next, in my eyes yes it is a waste of time.

And like I said before, Smashified IS useful for popularity and we are NOT wasting time, or at least I'm personally not doing it.
Asking for Smashified doesn't mean we are not doing other things.

It doesn't take a genius to know Smashified and Smash Bros. aren't related, you can't claim that someone won't vote because they saw how magnificent Bandana Dee could look, people can be shallow [ex. I almost voted for Bomberman after seeing that art looked really cool and he could be unique.] we honestly don't have much as a group can do to get Bandana Dee out there. You're being so vague saying we need to support him but not telling us how to, which in my opinion is like throwing a 3rd grader into a test having trigonometry without them knowing what in the world trigonometry is.

Besides we don't know if he will be in Smash 4 or Smash 5 so telling us we can't get him as DeeLC isn't the most encouraging thing to say.

Smashified is a major step in our progress, I don't know what I can say to convince you.

The whole doing nothing thing doesn't apply to me as I make the videos and I'm working on some right now.

Your last sentence (which is practically half of your post) really was logic flawed what's the point of getting him Smashified at all if he gets into Smash first, that makes absolutely no sense.

So I end this mile long post with this. What have YOU done to differentiate yourself from everybody else here?

P.S. Please capitalize the first words in your sentences I'm really OCD about that stuff.

Some user had voted "no" for Bandana Dee in BluePikmin's poll. His reasoning: "A Kirby clone? No thanks" (and he still wanted Young Link, a Link clone, back). I told him that there's no chance that Dee would be a Kirby clone, but I'm not sure has he seen it, at least he hasn't replied anything. I am honestly surprised that there are still people who think that Dee would be a Kirby clone...

I see where he's coming from. I love that part in Triple Deluxe when Bandana Dee copies his enemy's power and becomes Sword Dee.

None of Kirby's special moves or Final Smash can be used on Dee's moveset. Especially Inhale.

Didn't the Zelda fans kept saying " We haven't had a Zelda rep since Melee" (Toon Link says hi), but they vote for Young Link, a veteran. Make sense to me. By the way, that post gave me a headache.
