I personally think Wolf is practically confirmed and his votes will affect nothing.
I think this DLC votes thing is more for the newcomers.

I feel like Wolf will come out in Fall/Winter and then after his release we will get the results for the ballot, without them revealing who they are gonna pick, then show who they pick later after that.

Keep in consideration that this poll is to also give the devs possible options for development that are popular. They can see that several characters are in the top 10 most popular and voted characters... but than they slim it down to whose the most viable to develop for as well... and well maybe character 3 got more votes on the list than character 5 but character 5 makes way more sense to develop and he's still in the top 10 so here's a new smash newcomer! I imagine this is part of the process.

but how? there's probably a lot of people either trolling or legitimately wanting them. we DO have to worry about it. if people keep requesting say shrek and saying mlg, l33t, mt. dew, then that'll be in the way of legit request. Anyway, I gave one of my votes to Bandanna Dee and basically stated that he's a rising star in the Kirby franchise and he could have a very interesting and unique moveset.

Lets hope for the best outcome for the spear master.
