He represents newer kirby games, can have a unique moveset using his spear, is well known due to being a waddle and is fairly popular because of it

GUYS THIS IS OUR CHANCE. We've all stood by and got the word out on Bandana Dee's role in the Kirby franchise, his prominence, and shared our support and argued in his favor on other sites. He popularity increased, and the recent Rainbow Curse also put his image out there EVEN more. People have created fake leaks for him and excitement had been ignited.

We have to be smart in choosing who to vote for. We have to be realistic and take into account how recognizable a character is, the impact they have as a character from their respected franchise, AND their design. So far characters announced have been previous characters. Bandana Dee already has a moveset the Smash team can work from and expand on. They are looking for realistic characters to develop and who fit as easy additions to the game. We should also consider to support Bandana Dee even if you have other characters in mind, be realistic about the character's chances. If votes go everywhere and are distributed, you get a whole lot of characters with luke warm demand.... but if we all vote for the best candidate, suddenly we have a loud character whose chances are good and stands a chance. BDee at this point is most supported Kirby character as a new Kirby rep so continue your support so we can hopefully get a likely and possible new Kirby rep and character than many of you are interested in playing.

Another thing is that Smash 4 has a serious lack of modern Kirby games representation.

I already voted with a decent explanation. but we have to worry about votes. detractors (no puns this is serious) may try to ruin chances of characters including dee. people can pretend under the radar characters are crap and ruin their fanbase ,anyway I don't see how to spam a character will work you'll have to come up with multiple explanations.

I would like to have voted for characters like Grovyle (specifically from Mystery Dungeon)/Sceptile or Ridley, but they have no shot at being DLC or even the next game. Ridley makes sense to lots of people but Sakurai will never envision it, and the other 2 are just never going to be in. Also, here is Starphoenix's description for the ballot in text form+what I think is next if anybody wants to copy paste it or needs an idea for how to write a logical support description:

He is a character who brings a unique game play element to Smash with his spear. He can spin his spear like a helicopter to fly in the air, toss mini spears, and even incorporate other Waddle Dee attacks in his moveset like the Megaton Punch or a parasol. On top of that he would be more unique for his emphasis on spacing with the point of the spear and makes up for the lack of modern Kirby games in Smash.
