Hopefully the question mark let you know I don't have info for you guys, sadly. I'm just wondering how Move Decay is factored with Nana's as well as how they freshen moves.

Has anyone done the research on it?

If so sorry for the post I couldn't find anything using Search. :(

Heres a gift guys:

(IAS = middle number = individual attack strength)
% of strength = % of strength of the attack based on the base attack (amount of damage attack on first try did))
Attack do fractions of percents, in case you were wondering what makes numbers look weird, and then the game rounds the fractions.

Down-B: Banana Toss IAS % of Strength
4 4 100
7 3 75
10 3 75
13 3 75
15 2 50
17 2 50
20 3 75
21 1 25
23 2 50
25 2 50

Down-B: Smash Banana Toss IAS % of Strength
4 4 100
9 5 125
13 4 100
16 3 75
19 3 75
22 3 75
25 3 75
27 2 50
29 2 50
32 3 75

Down-B: Banana Throw IAS % of Strength
4 4 100
8 4 100
11 3 75
15 4 100
19 4 100
21 2 50
24 3 75
27 3 75
29 2 50
31 2 50

Down-B: Smash Banana Throw IAS % of Strength
5 5 100
10 5 100
14 4 80
18 4 80
23 5 100
27 4 80
30 3 60
33 3 60
36 3 60
38 2 40

In other words, using the C-stick to throw instead of A gets you about 1 percent more damage, as does using Smash Down-B instead of just regular Down-B.

I have a full chart of every attack but its going to be published on MLG for Get Better Fast.

I'm thinking one banana keeps it's damage, but the second banana is decayed. And so on. So multiple throws of one doesn't change it...

Like Peach's turnips are I think.

Or it's only the actually DownB toss... maybe.

But if it's each individual hit than that would explain why Fsmash seems to always be fresh...

No.

Multiple throws of a single banana will decay not just that banana, but also the second banana. For whatever reason both bananas are treated as the same entity.

It will refresh other moves, meaning having a strong banana game is critical to keep Diddy efficient, that, and glide toss dsmash instead of fsmash, LOL.

If I pull out a banana and throw it three times, then throw it away, then I pull out another and throw it 4 times, then throw it away, then I pull out another and throw it 3 times then throw it away, the damage on the opponent will match:

5 5 100
10 5 100
14 4 80
18 4 80
23 5 100
27 4 80
30 3 60
33 3 60
36 3 60
38 2 40

I'll be entirely honest here. I don't understand your number system.

When you posted with words, I totally got it though. Thank you for clarifying, I completely get it, and It totally answered my question. Thanks.

basically:
The number on the left is the damage the opponent has, the number in the middle is the individual attack strength of each banana, and the number on the right is the percent decay of each iteration of the attack. For example, after throwing the same banana 5 times at the opponent, they had 23% damage, the banana did 5% damage, and it was at 100% of its strength. After the 10th throw the banana did 2% damage, was at 40% of its strength, and the opponent had accumulated 38% damage.

When an attack does a small amount of damage as its base damage, like 5%, there can be lots of rounding/decimals that occur, so even though it looks like its not decaying much after the first 3-5 throws, the decay is quit apparent by the time you get to the 8-10th throw.

do attacks reduce decay if they don't hit anything? or do they have to hit to refresh other ones?

Attacks must connect with the opponent (or their shield I believe) or a stage hazard to be affected by decay.

AZ I love you for making sense to me.

Thanks for the info, it really is interesting and useful. I'm really glad I picked up Diddy lately... he makes a good third to my set of characters. I just wish I had an easy way to deal with heavy spammers... it seems like they all have reflectors in this **** game too.
