take off a set of http://

Honestly, I don't see this being very useful since the frames in which you can perform this are so few. How do you know you're going to be grabbed? There are just way too many options.

Edit: Hmm..unless this technique means you can break out of ANY part of the chaingrab.

It means every time you get grabbed, if you press a at the exact right time (frame), then you immediate get broken out of the grab, as if they mashed OVER 9000 times on the analog stick in a millisecond.

However, for the first grab you need to anticipate it, and advanced chaingrabers can alter the timing of the grabs (walk instead of dash and vice versa).

If worse comes to worst. Falco still has plenty of other ways to defend bread/pizza cake.

Hehehehe. He made a reference to DBZ.

On a related note, so fare, everyone believes you need to press a on the exact frame, which is highly unlikely to do without immense luck.

I think you also can't be in hitstun for the grab break to work other wise this would have been found out long ago, either during some character's CG or when Marth continuously grab releases Ness as Ness spams buttons.
So yeah, nothing really to worry about here.

Even if you could use this to break out of the chaingrab, couldn't the Falco just predict it and wait for them to nair/jab then re-grab them?

I don't think the down throw can be teched. Unlike GaW's d throw, the throw does not end until the character pops up. GaW's d throw is designed to drop them, where as the away trajectory is part of Falco's throw.
